I am not very fond of the typical parted down the middle and ponytail in back look most long haired guys have (that is, fond of it on myself).
I have been parting it on the side for a while (It is all basically one length) What you you all think about bangs on guys?! I have also been thinking about cutting my would-be bangs to chin length.

personally I'm not a big fan of bangs on men. Maybe it's just that I
haven't seen it done well yet, but I haven't seen a man pull off sexy
bangs the way Betty Page or Uma Thurman have, and the alternative to
sexy bangs are geeky bangs (at least the bangs I've seen...)
I tend to prefer hair all one length. You can do the hippy thing, you
can ponytail it, you can have it smooth and straight, you can really
do just about anything with it that way. Bangs are always just
*there*.
I don't see why there is a need for either a part or bangs with a
ponytail; just conb it straight back. Releasing the tension at the
back (hold the hair against your head and then pull the ponytailer
down about 1/2 inch) avoids the 'too tight against the head' look.
A part might make more sense with braids I suspect, since one could
form the individual hair strands from differet sides of the part(s).
However, I don't have personal experience with braids.
