Hey ya'll. I'm Paul's wife, Angel. I have been reading the posts since he has been on here, and most everyone seems nice, so I finally decided to start posting.
I have always liked longhair (especially on guys). Paul's long hair is what first got my attention. All of my kids have long hair, as you are probably aware. It upset me greatly when we had to cut our 9-year olds when he started school, and our next one starts school this fall. Hopefully we won't have to cut his.
Angel
Hi Angel,
Welcome to the board and great to have your company. You certainly have a great head of hair just like Paul and your kids. It would be great to see more families following your inspiration.
Cheers,
John.B
John B.
Thanks for your kind welcome.
Angel
Welcome to the MLHH Angel. Paul is certainly an inspiration and a driving force around here. We are always pleased to welcome ladies who share our enthusiasm and it is always nice to get a woman's perspective on how we are doing :)
You posted a great picture, Paul is one very lucky guy! Hope to see you posting now, take care.
ChrisG,
Thanks. I am glad that all of you welcome female long hairs to the board. I have enjoyed reading the posts on the board and look forward to posting a few of my own.
Angel
Welcome to the board Angel, it's always great to hear from the ladies who support us. I agree Paul's a very lucky guy.
Kevin
Thanks Kevin. I believe it is important to support each other, especially with something that is sometimes discriminated against. I have supported Paul for many years with his long hair (and will continue to do so). I will support my kids as well.
Paul also says that he is lucky to have me, but I feel that I am lucky to have him and his support.
Hi Angel,
Great to see you finally come out of the shadows and make a first appearance.Always nice when people delurk and join the party. We've had our fair share of female supporters but certainly in small numbers. Now we can add you to the ever growing list.Welcome aboard:)
Mark
Hey Mark, Angel asked me to tell you she did respond but she got the screening notice. It only came up on this one.
Paul
Thanks Paul for letting me know that as I just read Angel's response which is much appreciated. It's a real honor having you,Angel, and your wonderful family of longhairs being a part of mlhh:)Cheers my friend!
Mark
Mark,
Thanks for replying. I have always enjoyed reading your posts. Hopefully I won't go back into the shadows anytime soon.
Angel
Welcome to the ladies cheering section of the MLHH. Female supporters always appreciated by the guys here.
Hello Carol. Thanks. I love the name Carol. (It's my middle name hee hee)
Angel
....And that is a 'VERY' good thing!! Welcome from out of the shadows. I agree, Paul is one lucky guy. I hope to see you posting alot because you're so much better looking than he is:)
Daniel
Thanks Daniel
I am so glad that all of you welcome females to the hyperboard. I have always loved long hair. I think by mom believes I'm crazy. She has finally quit suggesting that I get my boys hair cut. Won't ever happen. I'm glad you think I'm better looking, but don't tell him, he might get jealous.
Hopefully I'll post a lot, but maybe not as much as Paul (he can be long winded lol).
Cool braids by the way.
Angel
I drive a truck for a living so I get to meet alot of different people. Just about everyday that I have my hair in braids I will hear some good looking young lady (like yourself) comment on my braids. I never get tired of it. Ah. Thank you for the comment. ;)
Daniel
Hi Angel,
It's a pleasure to read your post, --- and, I might add, you have DROP-DEAD GORGEOUS HAIR!!!
I may happen to be a gay guy; but, hey, that doesn't stop me from appreciating female support! (To burrow from a familiar old saying, "Some of my best friends are women!!" - LOL)....
I have never lived in the South, --- and only rarely visited any of the Southern US states. But, my impression is that you and Paul are a breath of fresh air in an otherwise resistant-to-change surrounding mindset (which seems primarily anti-longhair in its general attitude).
I greatly admire what you and your family have done in fighting the bigotry and narrow-mindedness in your children's school system, as well as your ability to stand tall in just proudly being yourselves in your area of Alabama... It's a great inspiration!!!
- Ken in San Francisco
Hi Ken,
Thanks so much for your compliments. I love your hair, color and length. Your not missing much, not having visited the South. I'm proud to be from the South, but sometimes I wish my parents had never moved here when I was a baby. I need to be in a cooler climate, I hate the heat.
Thanks again,
Angel
Hi Angel and welcome to MLHH. You have beautiful hair and so long as well. I love the fact that your whole family has long hair. I hope when my fiancee and I have kids that our family will be the same way whether they be boys or girls.
Hi Jason,
Thanks for your welcome. You have really cool hair. Does your fiance have long hair as well (congrats, by the way). I hope your family has long hair as well, we need more of us out there.
Angel
First of congrats on a good catch paul. :D
Also your hair is a great length really suits.
And i LOOOOVE you tee shirt.
My favourite books.
I'm a Jacob supporter. Must be the wildness in me.
The books are my favorite too. Although, we may have to fight about the sides we're on ( Team Edward for me). I have talked several of my friends and my mom into reading the books.
By the way, I got my shirt at a store called Hot Topic. It is the only one in the area, and the shirts are exclusive to that store. I just happened to go by the store the day they came in. I was the second one in the area to get the shirt (another fan beat me by 10 minutes). Can't wait for the movie. It comes out close to my birthday. Have you been on the website to read Edward's version of the first book? The only thing I don't like is Jacob cut his long beautiful hair.
Thanks for the great welcome,
Angel
Lol...
well you'd be joining my fiancee with Team Edward!!
I've always been a fan of the wild and wolves especialy so i guess it was a given. Also i have a cousin who's father is a native american. Half Irish half Native A..great mix :D
So thats another reason.
But the books are amazing.. Great read.
No i never read Edwards version online because i read Stephaine said it was posted illegaly and it was a rough copy. So she asked fans to wait for it to be published and has put that off now because of the issues.
The movie was a little disappointing although it grows on you. Hope they improve on New Moon with the new director etc.. He's from a fantsy backround so effects and stuff should be better. Although the wolf in the trailer seemed a wee bit cartoonie..
Pfft you can never please everyone :)
But again Welcome Angel.
I also love wolves and anything Native American (My great grandmother was a Cherokee). Jacob was cool and he grew on me, but there is just something about Edward.
Anyway, Stephanie has put part of the book on her webpage, and has invited her fans to read it. She decided to go ahead and post part of it, so it is legit. It is on http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/ if you/your fiance are interested.
Angel
Hi Angel and welcome, I always enjoy Paul's posts and he is a great longhair crusader, and we all need those.
See you around
~ Dave
Dave,
Thanks for the welcome. Everyone on here seems really nice and are very welcoming.
Cool hair, by the way.
Angel
Hi Angel,
Welcome to the hyperboard, and I am delighted that you are here to support all of us in our long hair journeys. We have a number of women members, and we genuinely appreciate their support.
You have long, healthy, and shiny hair yourself, and all the best to you, Paul, and your family.
Welcome aboard!
David
Thanks David. I'm glad to support anyone on their longhair journey. I love your hair.
Thanks again,
Angel
