Been away from my computer for a week or so, so didn't get a chance to reply to this when it was fresh...
As Paul mentioned, an SCA event is definitely a good place to go to see longhaired men in that sort of stuff. Check out some of my previous posts on similar subjects #245975 and 245795.

Im one! :) Ive actually been practicing medieval martial arts for about four months now at a place called the Green Knight Academy, we go and fight at SCA events and the like!
Heres a pic from a recent tournament I had. Im the second one from the left directly behind the guy whos kneeling.
Don't belong to one but there is a SCA group (kingdom?) that
rents our field for a SCA event in May each year so I see lots
of longhairs comimg and going.
