In June:
David Carradine
Ed McMahon
Farah Fawcett
Michael Jackson
Billy Mays
... and today two more:
Karl Malden
Mollie Sugden
They certainly are and "Are you Being Served" will never be the same again!
I've always liked that show. What a classic. I always liked the running joke about Mrs. Slocombe's cat: they would always ask her, "How's your pussy today?"
Your are so right. Some are more shocking than others.
Angel
Damn! How could I forget about David Carradine? Out of the whole list he was definitely my favorite.
I was so glad to see him again in something important - Kill Bill.
Paul
Also another longhair.
With Ed McMahon knocking on the pearlie gates St Peter will be so excited jumping up and down he'll think he won publishers clearing house.
Kevin
Good one, Kevin :-)

Kevin
Billy Mays arrives at the pearly gates with some Oxy Clean. Peter is standing there with a big stain on his robe and says, "Thank God you're here!"
Pat, Guess you really know you have made it when people are still making jokes about you after your dead.
peace, jonalbear
O_o
Keels over dead from the laughter.
Nate
And also, though not a big star Sky Sunlight Saxon, founder of the great psychedelic garage band The Seeds. He died at 71 the same day as Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett.
peace, jonalbear
I'm really going to miss Billy Mays. I loved his show Pitchmen. Who is going to yell at me about what I need to buy now? Vince from Sham-Wow? No thank you.
Wow. I know that Michael Jackson had left, but I did not know so many people were leaving us.
Matthew
Also from last week: Actress Gale Storm (okay, so my age is showing!), and voice impersonator Fred Travelena
Yes, My age is showing as well. As a kid I remember Gale Storm from the TV show My Little Margie. Of course I remembered Sky Saxon as well. Can senility be far behind? lol
peace, jonalbear
Many other people, non-celebrities, have died in that time too. But, yeah, in the past month, a lot of celebrities have been getting dead. I've never seen so many (famous) people die in such a short time, but that's the way it goes I guess. It sucks to see so many talented people die, though.
yea man, sad to see MJ go like that. R.I.P michael, hope to see albums, and more release for years to come.
now july 4 steve mcnair...
what the hell is going on
We also lost Andy Murray at Wimbledon, so now we have "Mr Perfect" from the land of the cookcoo clock and some that wears a baseball cap...why!
