Hey folks, I appear to be sinking into the grass by the stones on the aptly named Cairn Hwy. Cool image I thought(Thanks John S)! The monument was dedicated in 1938 and features a stone from each of Michigan's 83 counties and marks the 45th parallel.half way between the Equator and The North Pole. Had a great visit with Bill and Larry.

Your hair looks fantastic, Jonalbear. It would be cool to meet you if you ever make a Bay Area visit.
I am amazed that it can get almost as cold in winter in your part of the country as the north pole. The lowest noon sun angle at winter solstice would be 21.5 degrees above the horizon.
Hopefully there is no quicksand under the grass.
Scott
Lookin' good, my friend !

Cool photo of your fantastic hair! Your mane has such excellent thickness and so little gray - very nice.
Jason, High praise from the master of thickness and great color

Wonderful update Jonalbear! Your mane looks great! Even though I left Michigan when I was 8, I have many fond memories of my family's travels in the state. I don't think we visited Cairn Hwy, but hey, I was just a tad at the time.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jonalbear,
My apologies for the lateness in my reply, but this is a cool photo of your truly outstanding mane. I am envious of your thickness!
Keep it growing,
