  The Pittsburgh papers today reported the visit of David Kennedy, a professor at New York City's John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He has devised a method for the community to deal with gang violence that has had remarkable success. There was also an article on him in the New Yorker magazine (June 22). Long haired men do help improve society

    Tracked down an article Professor Kennedy wrote for the Washington Post. Interesting stuff. Thanks for bringing this up.
