I've been posting for about a month and i finally found a camera and have pictures.
These are from today; 2 years, 4 months, and 24 (25 if you count leap year) days after my last haircut with no trims in between.
i don't know what is up with that little curl at the very end but its always been there no matter how long my hair is.
I don't know how to put 2 pics in one post so the first reply is the back pic.
Hey. Your hair is looking really good. You should keep growin and see if you like it longer. What's your goal length?
thanks man.
as for goal length, just longer...
Hi Jarvis,
Thanks for the update and you certainly have a great head of hair there and from the back shot it's very shiny and in great condition. Just shows eh trimmers, great looking hair.
Just keep it growing and I'm sure you are very proud of what you achieved so far.
Cheers,
John.B
Thanks, i am proud... i just wish hair grew faster!!
I'm still trying to figure out a goal length, ive already beat every guy and most girls in my school so probably eother lower back or terminal im not sure
that little curl is a rebel 1 percenter. LOL!.
Duncan
LOL it's easier to see in a ponytail, but somedays it turns right, sometimes left, sometimes straight out but its always there, and there are never any curls like that anywhere else unless i put wet hair in a ponytail
Well those are some great pictures Jarvis, I am jealous! You have really terrific hair, very healthy. Welcome to the board BTW always nice to have new faces here :)
Thanks man,
my cousin always says that she (yes she) is jealous of my hair because i finally got it longer than hers and hers is dyed blonde and she wants her natural hair back. Beating other peoples lengths is always fun for me, next is my mom (about 4 inches away) then my aunts at lower back.
that said, I'm not a social longhair, I'm just competitive.
I'm the same way dude.. I love seeing that my hair is longer than friends and family.. =]. My sister is jealous that mine is longer than hers, and mine is just a LITTLE bit longer than my moms. I'll have to get another picture up here sometime soon (I'm at 25 Months).
Oh, and your hair kicks ass!
DJ
Looks great man! My hair is like yours, it's straight from the roots until the ends, then curls out alittle. -Mike-
You have good looking, straight hair. I am also on par with you, at 31 months, except my hair is curly. Even with seemly straight hair, sometimes, the ends curl up a bit, but my hair is far curlier than yours, enough to form "rings" at the ends of my hair.
Matthew
yeah, i was just lucky i guess, my moms family all have curly/wavy hair and my dads has straight. but everyone has naturally brown hair.
i must have got a mix because looking at old pics of my dad he had stick straight hair.
my sister has slightly curlier hair than me and when my brother was about 3 he had curlier hair than your avatar, he also got blonde hair somehow even though the only hair colors in my close family have been brown and red for atleast 4 generations.
anyways, i was rambling for a little bit, thanks for the compliments matt.
Hi Jarvis
By the look of it you have somewhat fine hair which can be
challenging to grow as it breaks easy. In your case yours look
very healthy and in good shape. You've done a good job with it
congrats.
Keep growing.
Kevin
Looks great, Jarvis. My hair had the little flip at the end until I was a fair bit past the shoulders. Do you have any particular goal length in mind, or just let it do what it wants?
Hi Jarvis,
Fantastic pic of your 2 year and 4 month hair my friend:)I'd be thrilled with hair like yours as the texture and quality look perfect. You have the type of hair that would look awesome down to your waist!Keep it up and keep us posted on your progress:)Cheers!!
Mark
thanks, i want it to be atleast waist length, as long as it doesn't bother me too much when i play guitar standing up. My guitar teacher (guitarist for Kix) has to keep pushing it away from the strings.
the pic is from september, its a little longer now.
WOW!I can't believe that your guitar teacher is from KIX!!!!I love them as I used to see all their shows back in their heyday here in NJ.I didn't even realize they were touring again so I'll have to look them up to see if they are playing near me.BLOW MY FUSE!!!LOL.
I like with your waist length goal as mine is at that length too but unfortunately I think I'm at terminal length. Thanks for the write back about KIX and your hair goals my friend:)
Mark
Yeah, because they never got as big as they should have they are still here in Hagerstown, Maryland. They've been touring on and off locally for the past couple of years, and now they have recently got booked in rocklahoma, m3 festival, and some places in arizona and california. But yeah, it kix ass having a famous guitarist give you lessons.
Hey Jarvis
That is cool you know the Kix guitarist. I had no idea they were still playing either. They were all the rage when I used to live in Hagerstown about 25 years ago. They played the whole tristate are when I was growing up there in Hagerstown. Man Kix takes me back lol.
Hey nice to meet another Maryland longhair, I still live in Maryland, in Montgomery County now.
Take care!
Raining down all over Merryland and making our hair grow like the grass. For living in conservative Frederick County, I sure see a lot of longhairs.
I have just given them a listen and like their music. Just shows what's tucked away in MD.
Cheers,
John.B
Your hair looks awesome....
keep it up!!!!!
Sam
Looking nice Jarvis!

That is one fine head of long hair. The wave it the end might be a result of natural waves, they relax as hair gets longer. Did you have a lot of waves, or loose curls, when your hair was shorter?
Thanks, my hair was pretty curly when i was about 5 and it was mid shoulderblade. For whatever reason it straightened out a couple years later. but no, it hasn't been curly or wavy at all since then

Your hair looks superb, Jarvis. It looks perfect in that back shot. Waist length (or more) would look wonderful.
Scott
For someone only 5 months ahead of me I'm definitely envious of your length! haha... wow! it seriously looks amazing :D
keep it up!
Hi Jarvis,
You have made wonderful progress in a relatively short period of time, and relatively straight hair like yours is the esaiset type to grow super long. Those waves you mentioned should smooth out as you continue to grow it longer.
Keep it growing,
David
