I can't recall his name, or why he was on the news. I only recal that he was speaking at a press conferance, and he is a surgeon from Johns Hopkins Hospital. He had mid-back length hair and a full beard. Thought it was cool to see such a doctor on the news.
Hi Carol,
Perhaps you are refering to Dr. Robert Montgomery and the 8 way kidney swap. He does sport longish/shoulder length hair with a pretty cool thick handlebar moustash.
Here's a video link. He appears about one minute into it.

That's a pretty cool video. Handle bar mustaches for the win!!!
Hi Bruce,
Thanks for posting that video as its nice to see longhairs in a professional position.Goes to show just because you have longhair doesn't mean you are incompetent.Unfortunately some small mined people think just that way.Probably that will never change but as long as more and more people accept it who cares about the few left behind.

Yes, that's him! It was a follow-up story about a woman who donated her kidney, and there was a shot of the doctor speaking to the press. His hair has grown longer since the video you posted. It was clearly past his shoulders in the news clip, so I was guesstimating he might be close to mid-back. Anyways, it's always cool to see longhairs in various professions.
