Took these tonight.
This is how my hair looks when I let it loose out of a bun. I love it! I got curls! Really 'livens' up the hair if you have straight hair :)
As far as my beard goes, I do intend on growing it a bit longer, but I love the fact that it looks complete, aka no patches.
Sorry I'm not showing the full length. I will try soon. It's harder to take self pics the longer your hair gets. LOL.
Well, I guess I can do it with a self-timer, but I never like how those turn out.
It is still near my waist though, haven't trimmed it. LOL
Actually here's one from a few weeks back that shows my length somewhat:
In conclusion, I have been wearing my hair in a bun at work and actually, in general now. I seldom have it in a ponytail anymore. The style has grown on me and I find it a convenient hairstyle to wear.
The first looks like a "Come hither" look, the other two are more of a "Keep your distance", "Don't mess with me" look.
hmm. longhair+bun=waves. I'll have to remember that. what kind of bun do u have it in?

My sentiments exactly, --- I've found that wearing my hair in a bun approximately 90% of the time recently to be the most convenient and easiest thing to do for work, as well as often for many other situations even when I'm on my own time. It's also quicker for me to do than either braiding or tying my hair back in a segmented ponytail.
Wearing one's hair in a bun is kind of like "the best of both worlds": during the day, you can be the serious-looking professional (looking more or less like a librarian - LOL); howevert at night... undo the bun, let the curls tumble down your back, and then head-bang to your heart's delight!!
By the way, those are some GREAT pics, ATP --- I vote that you keep it growin'!!!

Thank you for sharing your outstanding and inspirational update with us, and your hair is thick and healthy. Keep up the good work with the growing! I admit to sticking with two styles for my hair, down most of the time, and in a ponytail for some physical activities.

I am looking for similar length (when dry) so my hair 'sits' on and around my shoulders. As for buns, I find them very comfortable, too.
