It's been 7 months since my last haircut of any sort and I wanted to post an updated pic. After fooling around with my cameras settings for 20 mins, I gave up.
While this doesn't necessarily have to do with hair I really need a new camera, haven't bought one since 2004. What's a quality camera I can buy for around $300. -Mike-
Hi there, good to know you've been growing out your 'do!
About your camera question...I can assure you you can buy good quality cameras for like 100-150 dollars, mine was that cheap and it's a pretty good quality..if I only could be able to manage it better. XD

There are quite a few good cameras you could get for under $300. One of the things to look for is how many megapixels the camera is. The higher, the better. Of course there are a load of other features that can make a big difference too. Some cameras are meant for poor lighting conditions while others are geared towards fast moving sports. It really depends on your environment and what kind of pics you want to take as to which camera you should get. Sorry if I sound like a salesman, I used to work in the electronic department of a particularly common store whose name I don't want to mention here.
May I suggest you go to Best Buy and have a look, they have knowledgeable staff who will answer your questions.

Hey thanks man! appreciate that
Look at the Canon PowerShot series. I have a 590IS and it works pretty well and was under $300.

Canon makes a 4 ounce compact camera for under $300.00 with 12.1 megapixels. I have one of these. The SD780IS gets the highest review of all. It has superb macro capability. (See images of it and macro shots.)
