I had my hair relaxed 9 months when it was around 5 inches long, mostly to get rid of a few hideous curled flips here and there. Although it made the top of my scalp hurt for a couple of weeks, I'm glad in the end that I had it done. Now the effect has sort of worn out, my hair starts getting waves and curls on the ends when it contacts with moisture. Do you think my previously 'fried' hair has recovered enough in 9 months to have it done again? I would really like to not have to deal with it and not have to actively avoid moisture, along with not needing to apply straightening techniques. I really don't like the way it looks with curls and waves.
3 months is enough for your hair to recover, I suggest you get Bio Ionic relaxer, it costs 250 dollars but its worth it. Its permanent, and instead of frying your hair, it improves it. By permanent I mean, your current hair will be straight as a pin forever, however every 4 months you need to retouch new growth.
This Bio Ionic treatment sounds interesting. Has anyone tried it before? Got any links?
