Mom wants me to cut my hair, I'm going off to college, you know the drill :)
I'm not going to cut it because I'm just not ready for that yet.
Your opinions?
Keep it!
I am, I plan on growing it for at least 2 more years. How does it look?
Perfect in my humble opinion
It looks great, I'm actually envious.
Wow your hair is awesome, the waves make it really unique!
Looking forward to your future updates.
Don't cut it because of peer pressure, after a while they know you're serious.
Great band too btw!
I'm not! NOOOO WAY! It is more annoying than pressuring. If I hear "Cut your hair" one more time I think I'm just gonna go in a coma. I've heard it for this long... moving in a month so I won't have to hear it :)
And dear lord dude, you look EXACTLY like Mikael Åkerfeldt. It's uncanny. Ever been told that? Thanks for the comments, I'll probably update once a month or so.
Yes I hear it from more people, especialy if I have my mustache.
Good call, Vincent I never notice but you totally look like him. When your hair is midback and with a goat/stache you'll need to post a comparison photo.
-Phil
I will, looking forward to it :)
When I forget just remember me.
NOOOO WAY!
Whew! ;-)
One of the best heads of hair I've seen here yet (with all due respect to everyone else). What college, BTW?

University of Florida... I've seen some of the kids there, there's no way I'm "standing out" looks wise... there's some CRAZY stuff out there in unversity-world.
Hi Opeth,
What an outstanding head of curls you are blessed with, and I hope that you are able to continue growing it.
Keep it growing,
David
Awesome hair! If your college is anything like mine was, long hair will be very accepted. I knew quite a few people who grew out their hair while in college, me included. Hardly anyone ever said a word about it. Long hair on guys just wasn't an issue to anyone. So you might be able to bring that up next time your mom asks you to cut it.
Awesome natural curl !!!! the color is striking too
Cut when you are ready and not someone else
Dawn
It looks fantastic. The curl/waviness is great!! Definitely a keeper
Ignore her.
Your hait looks superb and suits you.
Unless you're really ugly from the front... Your hair looks GREAT!
Wow your hair is beautiful. I wouldn't cut it either. You'll be a big hit in college. Don't cut it. Tommie
Your hair looks fantastic...
"Mom" is not coming along to school so, you and your curls go off to college and have a great time.
Good Luck in your studies.
WWT
Looking great.
Nice curls man, like everybody else said, dont ever cut it for someone else.
And LOL at Tommie & Thayer right in a row
LOL being a KISS fan... that reminds me of being 10 years old heh
Looking great, nice curls and waves! Don't cut it,just let it be and grow as long as possible. :D
-Andrea
Nice curly/wavy hair!
Mom will be happiest, when she sees you with long flowing locks and earning a great income on the career path of your choice.
- Oren
I would like you to keep your hair, since it has all those handsome curls.
Matthew
Moms want a lot of things for their kids but can't have them all. Especially hair cuts.
keep up the good work you made it this far no point and stopping now.
Kevin
Awesome hair! Its a lot like mine...except for the color.
Hey I like that random rough look, definately keep it, mums love moaning, its what they do best :-))

Tell Mom if she doesn't like long hair, don't grow her's that way. Stand your ground, you should be old enough now to make your own choices on how you look. And it looks good man, I'd keep it.
Time to have a chat with mom and remind her that you are a young adult now, and quite capable of making decisions on your behalf. Be firm and insist that you arwe not going to cut it, and that you are old enough to decide this for yourself, so she needs to back off on the suggestion. Stand your ground, it's not like she can do anything to you if you don't appease her.
Parents forget that their offspring need to become autonomous during the adolescent years, and they need to back off on rules, sticking to those that are essential. "Choose your battles wisely" is good advice for the parent of a teen growing into young adulthood. They need to be guided into independence, too many stupid rules (like hair length) produce rebellion and wasted battles. When the disgruntled teen is of age and leaves, the relationship is fractured often beyond repair.

Is she paying his tuition??
"Choose your battles wisely" is good advice for the parent of a teen growing into young adulthood.
Of course, I was told it was good advice for a teenager dealing with his parents: Would I want to sacrifice my future for the sake of something like my hair??
OTOH, this dude has already gotten farther then I did at his age; I can only look on in envy at a VERY nice head of hair. If I were in his position I'd like to think I'd stand my ground and see what happened.

She's already said that she'd LIKE for me to cut it, even though she admits she can't make me do it. She's more annoying than demanding lol, it's quite funny.
