I think now I got a great variety of vitamins for long hair and my overall health haha what you think?
anything else I can take thats great for long hair like another vitamin or mineral? :)
I don't know if these are helpful for hair but you can alternate Flax seed oil caps with the fish oil for omega 3.
Also add Evening Primrose oil for Omega 6.
Scott (Absalom) had some suggestion in a post recently

I recently started upgrading my dose of Biotin from 600mcg every 2 days to a daily dose of 3000mcg daily a few weeks ago. As it's water soluble it shouldn't do any harm. Someone over at the Long Hair Community Forum does this practice whereas another member takes 10,000mcg daily (which I think too extreme). I also use Kelp, Zinc, and Omega Oil Capsules too.
Anyway I think that hair growth cannot be speeded past it's natural limit for growth, only an optimal diet and the right vitamins can help attain the natural potential of the hair. My own manes grows at a very regular and normal rate of 6 inches a year and my goal is not only length but to keep it healthy and shiny as much as possible which is just as equally important. Biotin helps hair live longer and shed less but I don't think it really boosts hair growth any faster. However if your brave enough you could go along with the Monistat treatment which some people claim has helped along their hair growth enormously whereas as others say that it increases hair shedding. There is a discussion on this over at the mainly women's LHC site. From recent pictures of your healthy hair I'd say just go with what your currently doing and just be a bit more patient. I remember the 1st year was the "slowest" but now the 2nd year is beginning to make a difference. Also because hair grows slowly, it gives us more time to work with it and also appreciate the time and effort taking into looking after and nurturing along the hair that you were born with.

I take cod liver oil for my dodgy knee joints if that helps!
Does that really help, John? My knees have taken a bad turn over the past 6 months...has it helped yours at all?

How about simply eating a good and varied diet? I don't believe Mother Nature had Flintstone vitamins in mind for our species. But, she did intend that our hair grow long.
Just a thought
im a meat and potatoe kind of guy is why its hard lol :P
The quality of food grown via intensive industrial farming is not as good as it was 30 years ago. Reasons being over-worked, abused soils & pesticides added, which all contribute to depleted mineral contents in current day fruits, vegetables and farm animals fed a shit diet pumped with growth hormones. So vitamins are a useful "top-up" on - organic food is great when it is available but isn't always easy to get plus it's usually more expensive if you are in a place where getting it from the supplier direct isn't so easy.

Hi Mark. I rarely take vitamins, and my hair is still fine. I agree with Justin; if you have a good enough diet, then you would not need vitamin tablets.

Seems utterly unnecessary and a waste of money. Why not just eat normally?

If you don't mind wasting your money on stuff you don't need, which is precisely what those Hair vitamins are. There is no scientific peer-reviewed evidence that they work whatsoever. If you eat enough grains (which American generally do), especially if they are WHOLE grains, you should get all the B vitamins you need, including Biotin. Fish Oil and E might produce shinier hair. Calcium/Vit D do nothing, unless you were deficient in those to begin with. If you eat dairy and spend at least 20 minutes a day in the sun, you are getting enough of both. Don't know what veggie pills will do, doubt they substitute for the real thing.
The best nutrition comes from food, not a pill in a bottle. Eat the veggies and fruits, or drink juices. A 'meat and potatoes' diet is not good for long term health and longevity. Fruits and vegetable provide phytonutrients and anti-oxidants that can't be duplicated in a pill. These protect you against diseases and control free-radicals. If you are not eating a balanced diet, your overall health WILL suffer eventually. Pills can never substitute for the real thing.
MSM (Sulfer) builds keratin, and can make hair stronger.
I have a Certificate in Dietetics, so I am talking from a professional stance. Your hair, and your body, will be healthier if you eat a balanced diet. Youth is very forgiving; but as you age the damage from a poor diet will take it's toll. "Meat and Potatoes" diets have been linked to cancer and heart disease, the consumption of fruits and vegetables protect you from this.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but I'd rather you instill good nutrition while still young, before the damage is done.
