Hey everyone.
Just started my 15 month since my last hair cut... I couldn't be happier with the results, the shedding its way behind the 100 per day mark and I almost can do a full pony tail.
Greetings!! \m/\m/
Keep up the good work :D
Hey Schultz
Lol, you made a fantastic progress and that's a lot of hair for only 15 months !
Love the color ;)
Keep it growing for sure !!!
Congrats! Your hair is looking great, and it's all downhill from here. Keep it growing!

Inolvidable!
Great length for only such a relatively short time of growing. This is a nice update.

Great hair!
I am at almost the same length, been growing for 15 months(2 trims). My hair is still in layers, and i see your hair cut is very similar and i just want to know if it's okay with all the layers right now?Is this the right way to grow them and i can get the layers off later or should i get them removed and grow them without the layers?I am getting kinda bored of all the various lengths, especially from the back and it now feels like the single length will take ages to get.
The layers will work themselves out over time. Trying to have the layers cut out will only prolong the process of getting past the "awkward phase".
There seems to be people who love having layered hair and people who prefer hair all the same length. My goal is to have hair all the same length like you but only when it is completely out of the awkward stage.
My hair has been growing 18 months from last hair cut and the layers vary in lenght from 23cm upto 27cm with a difference of 4 cm or (1 and half inches). My advice is to get out of the awkward stage as quickly as you can - by this I mean when all of your hair can be restrained in a tail. After this has been achieved then you could trim it all to the same lenght if desired. I trim my hair because of split ends which also gradually makes the hair one length. Also with layered hair it is easier to locate the split ends as they are not covered over with multiple layers of hair of the same length.

Some people had asked me if I cut it in layers (well almost all were girls), I havent got a haircut since almst shaved head, so I think its the natural form of my hair, but I dont think layers are a problem to grow your hair, just remember KEEP AWAY FROM THE SCISSORS!
Hi Schultz,
That is outstanding progress for only 15 months, and your hair is shiny and healthy, with outstanding colour. Keep up the good work!
Keep it growing,
David
Congratulations Schultz on your fast hair growth progress. Hair looks great and shiny and no sign of any split ends. Your 15 months lenght is about the same as my current 18 months lenght (with some trims for those dammed splits!) Yeah it's looking good.
Duncan
Not a swell idea. I did that thinking it would make things neater...it made it more difficult.
Thing about the layers is that most of the hair shafts are going to be close to the same length. It's there location which will make the layer effect (also your previous short hair cut will change it slightly as well)
Just let it do it's thing.
Nice hair man! Looking really good for 15 months of growth, be sure to keep it up and grow it your ideal goal lenght!

Hey Schultz,
Greetings back at ya, --- and WELCOME to MLHH!
I normally don't bother replying to someone that posts only a faceless photo of themselves (makes me feel like I'm talking to their back, or worse... their BEHIND - lol)!! I realize people have their reasons, of course, for deciding not to show their face on the Internet. In any case, your hair is so exceptional-looking that I decided to reply to you to at least encourage you NOT to trim or worry about the layers. Just leave it be, and let it grow gro-o-o-o-ow GRO-O-O-O-O-O-OWWW!!!!
Truly EXCELLENT-looking hair, hands-down PERFECT for growing it loooooooooong!!!
And again, WELCOME!!

Schultz actually has posted face shots from time to time.
Ken, you are a true comedian though! You should work on putting together a stand-act. I am sure it would be a hit.
You're very kind to say that, Matt; but, I'm afrtaid I'd be the kind of comedian who will probably end up getting booed off-stage, --- and for good reason: in real life, my wit is anything but "quick!" It takes me at least a month and a half to think of any reply that WOULD have been funny to say back to someone (LOL).... Plus, I'm better at stealing other people's jokes than I am at ever making my own up! Whenever I teach Swing dance classes, though, I have a lot of fun behind a microphone... In fact, sometimes my evil twin has been known to take the microphone away from me, --- and in those cases, what comes out of his mouth can be a bit DANGEROUS at times (lol)!!
"Not that foot, --- OTHER left foot!" [evil grin]

It looks good. Your hair length is similar to mine. The curls in my hair slows down my growth. I have been growing out my hair twice as long.

It looks good and grows fast. Fast growth and a low shed rate means your hair can grow super long. You should try to grow it to your waist at least.
Scott
Looks like a similiar lenth to my hair about a year ago.
My hair never gets much longer...kind of stuck at 14 inches at the longest point.
Thanks for the support everyone!
