I saw in the news Les Paul died. He was huge when it came to music and all that he contributed. Few know of his coming up with multi track recoding and mixing which is so common today.
Just think without Rock n Roll there would be a lot less longhair in the world. So we longhairs salute Les and all he did.

I was very sad when I read about it as well. He definately ill not be forgotten.
And I did NOT know that, very interesting.

Yeah, I woke up to hearing that on the radio...
Ive been listening to his music for the past year or so, ever since I found a 4 disc box set from him that my dad had.
94 with arthritis and still going out and playin the clubs in new york. Its a big loss for music.
Hi Kevin,
I also heard the news on the radio when I was coming home from work today.Thankfully he had a long life and did not leave us at an early age like so many other great rock and rollers.Leading a good life is a great way to maintain longevity. Its such a shame when some don't follow that rule.Anyway RIP Les as your contributions to music and your guitars will live on forever:)

Here's a pic of me with Les Paul...autographing my guitar. Such a great and talented guy. Don't forget he was responsible for the echo machine too! What a great sense of humor he had too! Rest in peace, Les...and thanx!
Me + Les
Here's a pic of me taken today with my Les Paul...and my long hair! I bought that guitar in 1974. Still plays great!
Take care and keep it growin', y'all!

Longhair me with my Les Paul
Ida loved to meet him. I met KISS back when I was like 5, but I dont remember it that well, and Im taking guitar lessons from Ronnie Younkins.
I got the buzzcut news from Dee Snyders radio show and he has a spot for Les, and then a spot for David Coverdale and I freaked out, but dont worry, hes just having a little voice trouble, Dee should order that better.

Thank You, Brett for sharing your very special photos and sentiments.
Les Paul is certainly one of the most influential people I have seen in my lifetime who contributed so much to so many music genres and technologies. And a person who knew how to enjoy life !!
For those of you who get "The Documentary Channel" watch for a program titled "Wired for Sound; A Guitar Odyssey"....excellent "biography" of the electric guitar with wonderful vintage interviews of Les Paul and many others.
Oh, I didn't know. He will be missed, without him, the rock would haven't been the same.
Brett is lucky, damn :)

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for letting us know and he certainly was a great asset to music and with his design of the electric guitar and multi-track recording. So many bands have to thank him for that.
I once had the pleasure of seeing him play in London and was an amazing evening.
He will be missed.
Cheers,
John.B
