I had this frizzyness problem the whole summer time, from the end of May to now, August. My hair gets pretty frizzy on summer, it used to happen even when I had short hair. How can I fight it? It might stop around september since here in this lousy country (Italy XP) weather is very very warm on summer. 40° for example can be perfectly normal. I hate it a lot. Can't wait for winter!

Hi Andrea,
Add some oiling to your hair. That would help with the friz.

Thanks for the advice, Duncan. But what kind of oil do you mean? Normal olive oil? I heard about putting some on damp hair and then rinse...
-Andrea
Yeah, just do it. Shea butter, jojoba oil and coconut oil always help.
Hi again Andrea,
I have only used Jojoba oil which does the job very nicely.

I thought there were some organic oils or something you can just comb through your hair to help that? Check Whole Foods or something maybe.
If you don't like that, I've found that sometimes my shampoo/conditioner combo can make my hair more frizzy. I've had good luck reducing frizz with Giovanni (Silk) or even with Garnier Fructis (Length & Strength variety). However, I plan on trying out Pantene Pro-V soon to see how that does.
You mean like olive oil, right?
I've been using a shampoo and conditioner against dry and frizzy air, it seems to work only if i stay home with air freshner on. It's really hot outside. I used it for many washings but I'm sure after keep using it, it'll work even better. (It says so on it)

I used to have alot of trouble with the frizzies during the summers, but I haven't this summer. I attibute this to the fact that I have significantly reduced my shampoo usage (about once every couple of weeks) while increasing my conditioner usage, as in condition the heck out of my hair during neearly every shower...several times a week.

I usually put it back in a tail whenever I go out,I dont like the feeling of the oils in my hair. same reason I never use sunscreen and bugspray and lotion and crap.
Luckily it hasnt been too humid here recently, but they are calling for rain from tues. to sat. this week. So Ill have to deal with it for a while.
Regular olive oil will work if you apply it to your hair when wet and comb through it. However, I use the same conditioner that I use in the shower as a frizz controller. I take some conditioner in my hands and a little water, rub my hands together to distribute it, and then smoothe it over the top of my hair and work it in a little. You can wet your hands again and repeat the same thing to get it a little damper. When I do this, it keeps the frizzies under control very well.
Allora ci si vedi.
1) You need a humidant to lock moisture in the hair. Try a cold water rinse of Honey and water. Honey will work wonders. Just rince the hair with it, and then wash normaly.
2) as others have said, jojoba oil
3) Condition your hair everyday. Shampoo every three days. if your hair is oily shampoo 2 days
4) comb, but dont brush
5) a light weight gel will work. Take some Gel, put it in a sprits bottle, then add water and then spray it on lightly.
6) avoid alchohol on the hair and avoid blow drying and no heat straightening irons ever!
I hope some of these tips help
