Hello everyone. I bet this question has been answered before, but I thought it'd be easier to ask than search the threads. I've been growing my hair for a year (from completely shaved). I had it trimmed a couple of months ago, and it's starting to look longer on one side of my head. So here's the question, should I get it "evened out" or just leave it?
Hi there,
I'd leave it to grow and over time it will even itself out. Of course unless our resident trimmers have another other advice :-)
Cheers,
John.B
eh, trimmers.
Sorry John, since you didn't say it I had to. LOL
But yeah I agree with John here just let it keep growing, it'll even out a little later....mine did.

Thanks everyone. a bit of encouragement is all I needed. This is the longest (both length and duration) I've let my hair grow. I've attempted the feat many times, but always managed to fall short...
Thanks again

hello
Just keep the long hair with the rest of your collection otherwords don't trim it unkess you really want to do it.

You can clearly see that my hair is about 2" longer on the right and I am OK with that. I would say just let your hair grow. Once it gets really long, the difference will be less noticable.

Hello, I'm experiencing the same thing, my hint is: HOLD ON! Don't trim, soon it'll even out. I really have to stop myself from keep thinking "i need a trim!"

It'll even out on it's own as it get longer. It won't get longer if you trim it every couple of months.
