Hi Dave,
I'm really sorry to hear of youer situation and no one really wants to be put into that position. But still you need to have a roof over you head. I'm sure it feels hard that you have to start again but just think in 2.5 years thing may alot different and I'm sure you will be able to find somewhere else to live. But you've been down the growing road before you have a great community here to give you lots of support.
Look forward to your updates and we are here to support you.
Cheers,
John.B

Hey, Dave,
I've felt on my own skin how hard it is, and I know it can ocasionally come up as a true inner agony. I too blame myself for cutting my hair in the past and not standing up to really defend it. Ironically enough, I know I have no use of sad retrospective longings whatsoever, and I'm still retrospective about it.
I won't predict whether 2.5 years will pass quickly or slowly, as it's all pretty relative; but, as long as it may take, just understand this is a long and drilling lesson on maturity and growing up as a person. If my own life wisdom may prove to help, I've learned to console myself that the harder I get something in life, te more I relish it in the long run. It's unfair if you compare it to the cases of others who get things with much less effort, but then, the fact that they got them easily often shows either the poor quality of their aims, or their low willingness to strive, ...
Good luck, and do inform us of your progress
