Hi all,
In an earlier post I mentioned a wedding. And wanting to do something special. Something I've not done before. And I found it!
A friend was helpful enough to give some advice, eventually doing my hair into the pictured style. And I'm so happy with the result of her efforts that I'll show you all.
If I ever learn how to do this myself, now that'd be a big step forward for me!
Great hairstyle and nice to hear something else then the normal wedding story where somebody let his hiar cut for this special ocasion. This option is a lot better and is one of the advantages of longhair your can change style easy.
I hope it goes well for you at the wedding.
That's a great look, but if you're interested in something similar and your friend has the patience, you could try a Legolas braid. It's a bit fiddly at first, and much easier for someone else to do it for you, but I think it looks good.

I actually came across that site the other day, looking up ideas for what to do. It's tempting to do, and I'll mention it when I can, but I reckon it depends on the talent of the person standing behind me!
Hi Jowii,
Thanks for the update and your eventual solution for the wedding styleup.See now isn't that so much better than loosing precious length by cutting off hair for an event that lasts only a few hours?Your friend did a fantastic job on your hair:)I too wish that was a talent I possessed to be able to do my hair that way.Well maybe someday I'll figure it out.Anyway thanks for posting the pics and glad everything worked out for you my friend.Cheers

To learn how to do it yourself, consult Jason. He may even have a self help video to show you how.

That looks great.
For myself, when going to a more formal event when no one has time to help me, I usually go with a 2 strand rope braid. It's easy to do by yourself, looks good, and holds up well. I've posted a link to the video that helped me learn it.

I love it. Let us know if you find out how to do it on your own. I would like to try Paul's out like that. It looks great. I think it would be a wonderful hairstyle for the wedding pics.
