Hello,
I have a major problem. About a week ago my roommates decided to play a trick on me. They decided to buzz the back of my head while I was asleep. I am a very heavy sleeper. Right now my hair is about down to my shoulders. They only buzzed about two inches up under my hair in the back, but I am in need of a trim. I am embarrassed to go to my hair stylist because I do not know what to tell her. They buzzed the hair down to a quarter of an inch. Do you guys have any ideas of what I should do. Here is a picture of what they did. I have never posted here before, but I hope you will help me anyway. I really do not want to have to cut my hair short.

Ignore it.
This hair will never 'catch up' until all your hair is at terminal length although it will grow out again.
I would forget the notion of a trim (if you really must just say what happened) ad then change your friends.
The reason I want to get a trim is not because of what they did, but because I would like my hair better about an inch or inch and a half shorter. Like I said, right now it is about at my shoulders, but I think I look better with it just off my shoulders.

Nothing to add on what said UK : Ignore it, eventually it will regrow. And don't trim. You don't need it.

I think you should just leave it alone, it'll catch up soon.
But that looks a little too well done to be done while you were asleep, are you sure you didn't get an undercut again? Remember last times? You got it done and then you've ended up cutting it all off.

But I suggest new friends and/or shave a picture into their hair.
just remember, be the bigger man... and get them back twice as good :D
it's things like this that scare me, if someone did that to me I'd make sure that they'd get theirs.
Thank you for the responses. I noticed that someone thought that they did too good of a job for it to be done while I was asleep. To him, I would like to say that when I fall asleep for the night, I am basically dead to the world. It is a terrible thing to wake up in the morning with a lot of hair scattered on your bed and not knowing what had happened. When I confronted them, they thought that I would not be mad because they only did part of my head and not the whole thing. They are morons. I will get them back. The only problem is that they both where buzzcuts, so I will have to think of some other form of revenge. I have decided that I am just going to ignore the problem, and even wait on getting a trim. Thanks again for your help.

At this point, I'd forget about "getting them back" and concentrate on getting away from them. Anybody who would do something like this and figure "he won't be mad" are certainly morons, and nobody that can be counted as an actual friend. You'd be much better off simply telling them to take a long walk off of a very short pier.

The same thing happened to me only they took a chunk out of the
side of my head. When I went to have my undercut maintained I
told her what happened. The only embarrasing thing is now when
I go in the shop and if there are other people there she goes
look at what somebody did to him and pulls up the hair that is
shorter than the rest. Embarrasing but survivable. And you do
NOT have to cut all your hair!!!
Some people pay for an undercut. It will grow back. You needn't do anything to your hair.
As for getting them back, you could always let the air out of their tyres (assuming they own vehicles of some kind), although far be it from me to suggest such a nefarious thing. It even works if all they have are bicycles, but it works for cars/motorcycles/trucks/WHY too. May not be such a good idea with motorcycles, though, as without air in the tyres they can fall over, and then acid will come out of the battery and can do actual damage, which you don't want, trust me.
Don't do any damage to the tyres, whatever you do, just take the cap off each tyre valve in turn and press the end of a key into the middle of the hole in the valve, use it to push the metal bit in the middle, and hold it there until all the air is out of the tyre, then screw the cap back on. You can use any house key/ignition key or any key that has a narrow enough end to fit inside the tyre valve.
You can do that while they are asleep, then when it is time for work/college/WHY they will wake up to completely flat tyres and have to pump them up before they can go anywhere (assuming they even own a pump!). Be careful not to get caught, and deny all knowledge afterwards. And don't tell them I said so.
OTOH, you don't want to sleep anywhere that they can get to you. Moving out sounds like a good idea too.
Report them to the police for assault.
If they are your friends then maybe you should consider ending the friendship, anyone who does somthing like that is not worth even knowing.
