Wow time has gone by so fast since I started growing my hair!
It's time for my two years update.
I made a comparison picture with the same shirt as my 21months update. It has grown quite a bit since then.
Although I'm not as active as I used to be because I lost my interest a bit I'm still interested in growing my hair long so don't worry about that.
My goal lenght was at least what I have now so I can make a full ponytail but I aint stopping here. I will grow at least another year and probably another year after that. We will see how long I can go without a trim it's still all natural and I will go on as long as I can.
Other news, tomorrow is my 24th birthday and I already know my present, tickets for the 2nd paganfest which I'm really looking forward to.
WOW, occasionally I feel totally astounded at seeing how fast some guys are able to grow their hair long, --- and yours is one of the most impressive examples I've ever seen!
Your mane looks hands-down TERRIFIC, Vincent! There's only one thing that I'm not happy about: that it isn't MY hair!!! (LOL)

Thanks for the update and that's amazing growth for 2 years and you should be very pleased with what you have achieved so far. I'm glad to you hear that your keeping growing you hair and of course for yourself and no one else. Well it happens in life that we loose interest in doing things in life whether it be internet or forums groups. That happenned to me a couple of years ago but that was due to health and you have to think of what's is best for you.
I wish you a great birthday and a wonderful evening a the Paganfest second time around. Shame it's not coming to UK this time round but I'm looking forward to a fun holiday in the USA for a couple of weeks in October. Of course do report back to us and let us know how the gig was.

WOW! Your hair seems to grow really fast I'm sure there are many jealous people out there. It looks great and I'm glad to hear your not thinking the unthinkable. as for loosing interest it can get old after a while and certainly we all need a break myself included.

Once it get's past the akward stage it's hard to keep track and it doesn't really matter to me. As long as it's there it´s fine.

wow Vincent youve come a long ways dude!the hair is looking great and is very long now congrads man :) Im at 30 months and my hair still isnt as long as yours since mine is wavy and curly lol but anyways def keep it growing another few years man and imagine what it will look like at 3 years growth!

To be honest Vincent, I thought you had been around longer than two years....that is an impressive length and looks extremely healthy. Your attitude is healthy also...we see an awful lot of guys here who really get overly obsessed with their hair instead of just enjoying it.

I've been a member here for 1,5 years and been lurking before that time. I can remember those early days and that seems like ages ago. I was obsessed with it in the beginning, right now it's just part of the routine. Just letting it grow and not really paying attention.

Your hair is looking good and much longer now. I'd go for a evening out trim, but that's just me. I like the even look. Where are you going to see Paganfest? I remember seeing that all the way back in April, I think it was. Great show. Is it the one with Moonsorrow, Primordial, and Korpiklaani?

Yes it's lot longer indeed I really like the lenght. Maybe I will go for a small trim later, but it's fine for now.

and the first paganfest with Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Korpiklaani, Tyr
So I've seen all those band but I guess the line up is different everywhere.

It's funny how a tour will have the same name, but a different line up. I'll be seeing some of those bands in a month or so at Heathenfest America. I'm sure you'll have an awesome time. Alestorm always puts on an awesome show.
It was the first time I saw them live and Alestorm kicked ass.
Together with korpiklaani Alestorm was the band I really came for.
I saw them before at graspop but they played at a small tent and I was standing outside where I couldn't even see the podium so I don't count that. They should have put them on a bigger stage.
Your hair looks absolutely terrific! Not the tiniest bit of frizz and as far as I can see, no or even split ends.
I've only got one question:
How do you get your hair to look that great? What kind of products (shampoo, conditioner) do you use?

Yes most of the time my hair looks great, although I do have some frizz. That part of having wavy hair but I try to keep it to a minimum. I also notice some split ends now for the first time but will ignore them for now.
I use shampoo and conditioner from andrelon once a week. I comb my hair when it's loaded with co and I comb it after the shower. After that I don't touch it anymore until my next shower. That way I have nice spirals of hair. I also let my hair air dry to keep frizz at a minimum. After running which I do 3 times a week I just rinse my hair with water and let it air dry.

My hair is not as wavy as yours, but I use to comb/brush it up to 5 times a day because it tangles up all the time. I know I shouldn't be brushing it that much cuz it causes frizz and split ends, but I can't help it :-/
I'm now lookin at a little more than 2 yrs of growth without trims.
I currently wash my hair 3 times/week (gets greasy after 2 days), using Alverde shampoo & conditioner (natural cosmetics). First a bit of conditioner, then the shampoo, then water, then more conditioner, then ice cold water. I use the conditioner everytime cuz otherwise I can't comb my hair afterwards. I let it air dry everytime. Haven't used my blowdryer for almost 2 years. This helped me to reduce some of the frizz.
Next time I wash it, I'll try the way you do it, although it will be hard not to comb it... :|

Your hair looks good in the picture.
My hair also get's a bit greasy but if you don't wash it a lot eventualy your head will produce less oil. But this takes while and in the beginning your hair will look greasy.
I know what you mean, my hair tangles very easily and I don't want to comb it the whole day. So I just leave the tangles in my hair so it can't tangle again. It forms some sort of loose dreads.
One warning, every day you wait with combing your hair becomes a bit more tangled. I tail it a lot to prevent it from tangling in the first place. When I wear my hair with multiple hairties I don't even get a single tangle after 4 days! Most of the time I wear it with one tie. Every time I wash my hair I start working out the tangles with my hands and lot's of conditioner.
If you really want to comb your hair more then go under the shower and apply lot's of condioner to the end. Then work out all the tangles with your fingers. After that you can comb your hair and let it air dry.
I also rinse my hair with cold water afterwards, forgot to mention that.
During the day your can make your hands wet to smoothe down the flyaway hairs. This is my way of making my hair neat instead of combing it.
