Scalp massages are good for your hair, right? what do you guys think of this nifty thing?
=========
It's just a gimmick.
The ad copy says:
..........
"So, again, WHAT IS IT?
It's kind of a spider-shaped device made from pure copper. The packaging tells us that "copper acts as a conductor tapping into your bodies electrical fields." It has a copper handle and a series of copper arms with special tips."
.........
I seriously doubt this gizmo will "tap into your bodies electrical fields" any more than wrapping it in aluminum foil would. Hah. But it may provide limited value as it runs over your scalp. But then again, just using a wide-tooth detangler comb would do the same thing.
The ad copy continues:
..................
"WHAT DO YOU DO WITH IT?
You (or someone you're close with) lowers it onto your head and twists, turns, and lifts it. The ends of the copper arms move all over your scalp, stimulating thousands of pressure points and nerve endings."
.............
Again, you can do the same thing with a comb, or even your fingers. The idea is to massage the scalp and get the blood flowing and nerve ends stimulated. Actually, I'd think fingers would work better than this gizmo.
All in all, I'd say save yer $$$, use your brain & use yer fingers instead. It won't work better than what's on the end of your arms.

oh, thanks! they almost had me buying one...it's so tempting!!
i do not know about that. i mean, it might be junk; who am i to say?
but still, you know those little massage things that look like over-simplified animals? like, there is a smooth wooden ball a couple inches in diameter, and then there are three or four other smaller balls with about a one inch diameter that are connected with sticks a few inches long, so as to massage someone with the three or four balls at one time. anyway, that seems really simple, but i looked around my house a bit to find something that would do the job like it, and i could not find anything that even came close. they are wonderful. the one thing that i found that came close was in the science room at school; it was a molecule model carbon connected to a few oxygens, which of course i could not take home.
so we ended up buying one of the massager things, even though they are simple and over priced, and i love it. anyway, the wire thing looks like a gimmick to me too, but hey, i have not used it. maybe it is great, and worth the $20. then again, maybe not. :)
do you realize the website of this item? stupid.com... its sounds too bizzarre anyways
I think that it would turn my hair into a tangled mess!
