There have been a number of cutting or I'm thinking of cutting threads lately. That's okay, we're here to try to dissuade you. For any wavering though, please know there are many core members here who never waver, never even think of cutting. We don't care about society, clients, employers, longhaired women who don't like long hair on men, not being "grown up", etc. We're just longhairs who never intend to change.
I took some photos while on a walk through the woods today and added a few others. Lots of photos, but please forgive the extravagance. MLHH is home for total and unconditional support for longhaired men.
Hi Jason,
Well said and the pictures justify that as well. Thank you for doing that. That is lovely picture of you both in the field.
My best to you both.
Cheers,
John.B
Hi John,
Thank you very much.
Hey Jason!
My, your hair looks to be just about waist lenght! =D It looks great, I envy your blunt ends =D
I also love the backgrounds of your pictures, they make me wanna move to the countryside =) I know how it feels to be in those wonderfull places tough, as I go on vacations often to the countryside =)
Your half braid looks very good on your hair at this lenght specially. It's great to see you wearing it so proudly ^^
Thank's for sharing! Long hair pictures are never enough ;)
Hey João,
Thanks! I remember how you posted quite a few updates from the beautiful locations that you went on vacations. Those pictures were always so amazing.
Best,
Jason
Such awesome pictures, Jason! Your hair is impressive.
Nice backrounds you chose for the shots, too.
-Andrea
Thanks Andrea. If I can, I try to take photos in a natural setting because I feel long hair fits in so well there.
Hello,
Thanks you Jason for sharing these really inspiring pictures with us.
You hair looks wonderfull and the pictures background are wonderfull as much.
I would love to have hair like yours.
François
Hello François,
Thanks for your compliments! :)
It's very nice to have you back with us again.
Hi Jason,
Thank you for sharing this truly outstanding group of photos, and what a beautiful part of the world you are living in now! Hopefully, some time during one of my upcoming trips to see Tammy, we can get together to chat once again. It was such a pleasure meeting up with you just over a year ago!
Of course your hair is looking great these days, and you should have no problems achieving your goals.
All the best to both of you!
David
Hi David,
I was thinking the other day how it was around a year ago that we met up. It would be great if we could do so again and have you meet Amanda as well! Maybe we could even take a few photos again. :)
Thanks about my hair and the photos. Those sunflowers fields are near to my new apartment.
My best to you and Tammy,
Jason
great pictures Jason! very beautiful hair my friend and love the New England trees! Seeing that makes me jealous because I hate living in the south east in Mississippi ugh! lol but anways your hair is badass brother and you have it so healthy looking I am proud of the mane you achieved and can't wait to get there myself! and also can not wait to meet you when im living up there!
Thanks Mark. New England definitely has lots of natural beauty. I'm delighted that you're going to be moving here.
Just think of the mane you will have when you move in a couple of years! Yours is already very impressive.
You have some awesome hair there Jason. How do you get that braid to stay without a tie?
Thanks Jarvis. I find that if I braid it down pretty close to the end, it will stay without a tie for quite a while. Since I wanted to take pictures of it both loose and with the halftail braid, I didn't bother with the tie.
...Thanks for putting words to the feelings of many of the board members....well said !
Funny, I was just thinking today that you were about due to kick off the MLHH "Annual Autumn Update". Great photos !
Desert temperatures dropped from the 100's to 70's in the past two days..expect 45 tonight..Autumn is here...Yeah !!
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Damn, 70s would be great, its been unusually cold here in MD not getting ofer 60 the past week.
And, same here for the feelings of the board...
AND, I may give a fall update. Ill atleast wait until I get my new sunglasses though. Just to add to the hippie effect of my appearance :D
Peace,
~Jarvis~
Haha, I love autumn. I find it particularly inspiring to take photos.
Thank you!
Jason...how about the "trimmers"...how do they fit in your scheme? Some report "trimming" every three or six months.
I wasn't referring to trims to maintain a certain length or small trims to maintain blunt ends though I think 3 months is way too often for this. I was talking about cutting large amounts or all of your hair off.
------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Jason,
Wow!What a phenomenal update for the start of the new season.Fantastic rustic pics that only compliment your fabulous mane. Its always cool to see your pics being you are one of the few who gives us a lot for the money:)Also I'm fully with you on the longhair for life statement. Its a real shame when an awesome longhair decides they are through with their journey and goes short again.Truly a sad day when that happens. All I know is that's not in my playbook.Cheers my friend and thanks for your unwavering support.
Mark
Hey Mark,
When I think of a totally committed longhair your name comes to mind. Your awesome incredibly long mane and your unwavering commitment to maintaining it are always a source of inspiration to me.
Thank you about my photos and hair. It was cloudy that day. Who knows maybe I'll try to get some sunny ones before autumn is over! :)
Jason
Absolutely out of this world exquisite long hair Jason! You have so much to be proud of and the long hair couldn't look better.
Congratulations. Beyond sensational! :-)
Justin~
Hey Justin,
Thank you very much! :)
Hey Jason, enjoyed the photos, the braid looks great.
Thanks for your comment and compliment Charlie.
Great update Jason!
Love the halftail/braid combo.
Keep it long,
- Oren
Hey Oren,
Thank you. I like the halftail braid style very much.
I'm eagerly looking forward to your next update!
Jason
TERRIFIC update, Jason, --- and very inspiring words of wisdom, to boot!
I've decided that autumn is definitely YOUR season, Jason. Why? Because the fall colors go great w/ your hair!!!
But, best of all, the pics of you & Amanda standing in that field of sunflowers is hands-down FIRST PRIZE!!!! (Also... Is it my imagination, --- or, is Amanda growing her hair out, too?!!)
Thanks for sharing the inspiring update!
- Ken
Hey Ken,
Thanks so much for your kind words. Haha, well, I do love autumn the best.
Thanks too about the sunflower field pics. When I first saw that field, I thought it would be a cool place for photos. Amanda is growing her hair out! She is planning only very small trims until our wedding in July.
Best,
Jason
Thanks for posting another great update, that's what this board is about! Your hair looks nice as always and the scenery is also very good.
Thanks Vincent. Your growth rate is amazing! I'm looking forward to your next update both to see its length and your braiding skills!
Yes I'm surprised by the growth rate myself. These days I just forget about my hair but when I make a picture it's seems to grown quite a bit. I must admit I haven't been braiding as much as I like but I will post a new picture when I do my next update.
Great post Jason and very well worded. Trimming should only serve a practical purpose, bad split ends, ones desire to maintain a certain length are the only two I can think of.
All my best to the two of you.
Kevin
Thank you Kevin!
Well said, Jason ! The pictures are outstanding and really fit with what you say. Sometimes, one must post pics like that to remind what is Longhair. Very inspiring.
Vivien
Thanks Vivien. I appreciate your kind words about my photos and their effects.
Hi Jason. Like most of the core members, I am not one of those people who are thinking of cutting. I plan to remain a long hair for as long as I am alive. When ever a person intentionally tell me to get a haircut, and means it, I cut that person out of my communication and I will not do it. Nonetheless, your braid looks fine.
Matthew
Hi Matthew,
Now those are words we like to hear!! Well said for sure.
Thanks about my braid.
Jason
Those are very nice photos Jason! To someone like me who is almost out of the awkward stage, it helps a lot when I see pictures such as yours. It helps me to remind myself how awesome my own hair will look in a few months.
I will admit, I have had 2 small trims along the way, but that was before I discovered MLHH, and I have learned the error of my ways. I don't plan to walk into a barber shop for years to come, if at all.
Anyways I really like your hair, it is very inspiring!
Luke.
Hi Luke,
Thank you! I'm especially appreciative that the photos have an inspirational effect upon you.
That's a really exciting moment - to be almost out of the awkward stage. The first time you can wear a ponytail securely is a huge milestone.
We'd all love to pics!
Jason
Hear hear!! Long hair forever, great images Jason.
~ Dave
Amen! Thanks Dave.
Your hair is looking great. You're inspiration :)
Thanks for your comment, Adam.
Man, what would I give to live in such an incredibly beautiful area. May I ask where this area is? You two fit there - natural beauty in every aspect... ;-) hair and everything else...
Be happy together. thanks for posting these beautiful pictures.
best regards from Germany
Leto
Hi Leto,
Thanks about the photos! They were taken in Massachusetts, USA in areas set aside by the government to maintain the natural habitat.
Best,
Jason
Hi Jason,
1st great hair as always...also Well said man, it seemed the board turned into the "I'm going to cut off my long hair off hyper board".
Mike
Thanks Mike!
Hi Jason, your hair looks fantastic in this image. It is close to your waist now.
I am one of those members who has not wavered. My hair is full natural length, and I intend to keep it that way.
I am saddened to find out about LHC dissing you like that. I think I just may stop posting there if they continue to be un-supportive of men with long hair.
There are some guys over there who like LHC. Dave Decker (who I have met) posts there quite often. It would be cool if he would post here at MLHH.
Scott
Thanks Scott!
Great pictures Jason, your hair and thoughts on long hair are my inspiration!
Bravo!
Bruce
Thanks Bruce! I'm glad I can serve as a source of inspiration! :)
