Eating properly and having a properly balanced, nutritional diet is essential for hair growth! You need to start eating properly, and this could be partly the cause of your problem.
Hair falls out at a phenonemal rate if you're not eating properly - it's what happens to people with anorexia.
Hope this helps, and I hope your problem is sorted

I strongly suggest you do this:
Call you family doctor and ask him to recommend a dermatologist that you can see. He should be able to send you to someone who can help you. Remember, dermatologists are trained in treatment of hair and nail problems as well as skin problems.
You may be slightly embarrassed, but, believe me, these people are professionals and deal with this sort of thing every day. In my experience, you are wasting your time trying over-the-counter drugs or listening to hearsay advice. A professional should be able to examine your hair and determine what can be done. If there is a nutritional issue going on, he may be able to set a diet for you or write a prescription. He may request a blood test just to rule that out.
You may be surprised at some of the alternatives available. If you get someone who simply says, "You're going bald, deal with it," find another dermatologist. Life is too short to put up with that kind of insensitivity.
With all due respect to my loved ones, I came from a lower-class family that tended to accept any problem that came their way without really having the experience or background to know all of the avenues that could be taken to lighten the load a little. Don't let this happen to you.
I know how depressing this can be. Please take action, and you will feel better. I hope you'll keep this board informed.
That was a fantastic response. I agree wholeheartedly.
Hi guys,
Thanks for your sympatheic replies to me, this is hard for me to go thru, it's not very noticeable yet but is starting tog et that way in the front, around where my hair is parted also, ive had this style for the majority of 6 yrs, i've cut it off twice but re-grown it soon after, so im not sure if maybe if i cut it all off again for awhile then regrow it if that'll help or not , but i figure if it's starting to look and feel thinner now, it will again after i re-grow it if i cut it all off
im going to the doc next week, ive seen him about this b4, so im not really sure what to say or ask him but it has got worse in my mind since then
Does anyone know of or try saw palmetto for hair loss/thinning? if so, has it helped? do you think it would be worth me trying it?
Why not use Propecia and Minoxidil? We are lucky to live in such a time when these things are available! Take advantage of them and save your hair. The Regrowth web site has lots of information on both.
