Greeting to everyone;
It's been just now over a year since I shaved my head and dropped out of sight. I apologize for not keeping in touch as this board had always been a great support on my 2 year journey into long-hairdom. I hope there are a few people here that remember me..
Why did I shave my head?! I know I was making great progress when I shaved it and I loved my hair! I did it for one reason only. I had started bodybuilding and the amount of effort it took was absolutely enormous. My days began at 3:45 am and were extremely long with lifting weights and trying to maintain family and work. It was easier to just shave it every 3 days and forget it. I will post a picture here ... (please forgive the vulgarity of the lack of hair), this picture was taken two months ago. I'm about 20 pounds heavier than when you last saw me. This was also the last time I shaved my head.. I now have two months of hair! And the better news is, there will be no more cutting. I did what I wanted to do with the weight training, and I learned alot about myself over the year... if I can manage to perform this well in the gym, I can grow my hair again.. I hope to have all of your support.. Thanks everyone.
Blessings,
Tristan
Hey Tristan,
I was just thinking the other day that we hadn't heard from you for a long time. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I'm sorry that the bodybuilding wasn't able to coincide with you growing your hair but I'm glad that it now appears that each pursuit will no longer be mutually exclusive for you.
You have tremendous hair to work with and I look forward to seeing your mane restored - for keeps this time I hope!
Best,
Jason
Hi Jason...
Thanks for responding.. I did enjoy the last year being free of hair worries. But, I enjoyed my hair more when I actually had it.. I plan to keep lifting weights. But, I'm not going to be as dedicated as I've been. I think I can find that balance..
Thanks for the encouragement.. Your hair looks great as always. Is it hard to believe you're over 5 years growing??
Be Blessed,
Tristan
Congratulations; I'm thinking about doing something similar with the gym. How long did it take you to get ripped? Did you hit the gym daily?
Hi Tony,
Thanks for responding.. I was in the gym 5-6 days a week for about and hour. -However it was a difficult hour with little to no rest between sets... which is very difficult if done correctly. Good luck with your pursuits..
Tristan
Welcome back. WOW--Big change man! You look great, but I have to say that is good you are growing your hair back.
It seems that the change was very positive for you as you mention that you learned a lot about yourself. So are you oficially competing or just worked hard to achieve your goals? It would be great to see your current picture.
Greeting to everyone;
VJ ...
Hi .. thanks for your response. I did all my training just for my own challenge.. I know I could compete if I kept up the intensity, but working like that is quite difficult. I've now found a better balance with life..
Blessings,
Tristan

Greeting to everyone;
Wow you are just... huge !
I'm really happy that you are growing it back, you are going to look like a warrior with all these muscles and long hair !
Have a nice day
François
Hi Francois ..
It has been a long time.. How've you been? Thanks for the encouragement.. I'm going to try and keep the physique maintained ... I don't want any more size.. but just to be healthy and with the long hair!
Good to hear from you..
Tristan
Greetings to you as well.
It is great to have such options with your appearance. You look great with and without hair, though I must admit, with hair you look 15 years younger.
Happy growing or not, the choice is yours, guy!
Benny
Hi Benny..
Thanks for posting.. I need all the younger looking options I can get.. I'm in my mid 30s and would rather look 20. ;)
Take Care,
Tristan
Well, guess there will be no worry about some Salon giving your hair a Mickey Mouse job now.
Hi Justin,
No ... I suppose not. I think all the touch-ups I get over the next couple of years, I'll do myself..
Hope you're well..
Tristan
Of course I remember and WOW and congrats on your work you have done. It is great to see anyone put there mind to something and follow through with it and succeed. You have done a great job and now look forward to another goal of getting your hair back. Hair or not the accomplishment is great. Congrats and look forward to hearing more from you in the future. longhairedone Steve
Hi Steve..
Thanks for the kind response. I look forward to this next journey. I've learned to love the journey, as well as the destination..
Blessings,
Tristan
Wow you really got some muscle, great job!
To bad it didn't work with longhiar but I know what you mean, I didn't do excercise before and right now I sport 5 times a week (running, skating, mountainbiking)
There were a few moments I thought about cutting it because of the extra work. But I just couldn't do it so I decided to live with it and right now It's just the normal state.
Great you decided to grow your hair back as it looked awsome on you.
Hi Vincent..
Thanks for posting. I would've loved to have done both, but it felt like too much, and once that weakness got in there ... before I knew it, it was too late... I think I've got a better balance now..
Best wishes with your exercises...and your hair ... keep it up!
Tristan
Hi Tristan,
It is great to hear from you, and congratulations to you on your bodybuilding! You have done very well.
I am delighted to know that you will be growing your hair long once again, and you have excellent quality hair to work with. You can most definitely count on my support, and I hope to see you posting more on the hyperboard.
Take care,
David
Hi David..
Thanks so much for your kind words.. I've enjoyed bodybuilding, but realize I need the balance in life ... plus my hair back!! :)
I do intend on being on the board a lot more than in the past year ... I think this will be crucial for my success.. Thanks again for the support!!
Be Blessed,
Tristan
Wow! Tu eres gigante!
Glad to see you back, and I hope you'll stick around. I can't wait to see how great your second round of long hair will be. Congrats on the feat of fitness you have accomplished. You seem to be very dedicated. I wish I wasn't so lazy when it came to working out! Whenever I'd work out in the past, I'd lean up and gain some muscle rather quickly, so you'd think that would motivate me.

Gracias! ...
Hi Matt..
I'm glad to see you are still in here these days.. it truly has been a long time. How long is your hair now?! I do plan to be around quite a bit more since the journey is continuing.. (rather than starting over right?) ... Thanks for responding..
Blessings,
Tristan
I'm about as likely to shave my head as I am to shave my eyebrows offf!
Uh ... okay.
Good to have you returning Tristan, happy growing on your renewed hair journey.
Bruce
Hi Bruce..
Thanks for your support man. Hope you're doing well these days. How does the wife dig the hair after having it long for all these years??
Tristan
I never met you last time you were on the board, but good to know you are growing it back out. Like whoever said earlier, you're going to loook damn scary with all that muscle AND long hair
Thanks for your support Jarvis...
Looking forward to making some progress again..
Blessings,
Tristan
