A friend snapped this of me. He liked it because I have this evil mad scientist look in the pic.
My hair is still wet from washing.
Enjoy!
Hey, is that a tubes radio or amp ? i can see some 12ax and poweramp tubes !
Nice "mad scientist" look, but take care, high voltage tubes are not hair friendly :)
Have a nice day.

That is an Emerson AM / Shortwave tube radio. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It was completely dead when I tested it. Since it is a AC / DC design, it is most likely a blow filiment in one of the tubes.
Take care!
Mike
Ah, Professor Gadget!
Lookin' good Mike.
You have the look as if you're thinking "Look what I've created"

Hi Mike,
Wow, it's great to hear from you again and to see a new pic also:)It's cool when long time members return to the board after being away for awhile.Sometimes you think they have cut their hair and just faded away but certainly not you.Cool tube device as I'm still liking my tube integrated amp I bought and posted about some time ago.Your hair still looks fantastic.Way to go my friend!

Great looking photo!
Looks like a late 1930's radio receiver you have ready for the bench.

Hi Mike,
What a cool photo, and the hair is still growing, and it is great to see you posting again! I remember the time you posted a photo of your collection of old electronics, and what a great collection you have from the days gone by.
Hope to see you posting more, and take care,
David
