Thanks for all you guys who replied to my 'Progess Pic + Problem'.... To be more descriptive, not all my hair is in the ponytail, especially the sides that aren't long enough to reach the back (I started off with the usual guy's cut).... Now, a question arises, what's a half ponytail? I think I do have a lot of hair (a lady barber from Oklahoma said so) and maybe that's why it fans out? But my hair is somewhat frizzy just in the back anyway... Why does it only happen in the back? LOL. So two questions for you guys:
-What's a half ponytail?
-And why is my hair frizzy in the back but not anywhere else?
As far as I know a half ponytail is when only the top and sides, or just the top are tied back and the tail falls over the back thats left out. Its the main reason I want long hair.
That is correct - this is the way I wear my hair. Tie back, near the crown, just enough of the hair from the very front of your head to keep it out of your eyes. Thus you have pretty much a "loose" look from the front, with hair cascading over your shoulders, yet the convenience of a ponytail, hair stays out of your eyes and overall looks neater. From the back, it looks "classy".
Half ponytail is a bit of a misnomer. I't more like a 1/16th or 1/32nd ponytail!

What do you guys think about half-pony tails? Personally I like them, but wore one last week and someone asked me if i was feeling particularily feminine that day. And my wife laughed the first time I wore it that way saying I looked like a 7th grade girl. (Of course, she doesn't like long hair, so her opinions are suspect!) Anyway, whenever I saw someone with his hair like this I always thought it looked pretty good and now that mine is long enough, I find I like it pretty well on me too.
Couldn't tell ya why your hair's frizzy in the back-do u blow dry it (that can damage it)? Let it air dry.
Ever seen Lord of the Rings, Michael? Legolas wears a half ponytail in it.

Yeah, I've seen the Lord of the Rings. So that's a half ponytail? It's more like just letting your hair down and tie a bit of your hair up... It does look kind of neat... Not for me, though...
Anyway, no, I don't blow dry. But not exactly airdry either. More like towel dry.
Love,
Kev
Do you mean like Liam Neesom in The Phantom Menace?
