Well guys thank you for all your advice and support. I did go through a lack of care somewhere during May 09 since I was showering with hotter water(but not boiling though), I also underwent through some stress, depression, and boredom in a vacation in Mexico with my parents in some isolated retirement pueblo... Now I'm back to my ultra sensitive hair care :D. Despite being out of the awkward stage I feel that my waves are still kinda battling against gravity and that my hair has been getting straighter as it grows longer.

Yeah it is definitely not a good place to stay for a modernized metropolitan youth to spend 5 weeks. My old parents visit it just because they have fond memories of the place.....This pueblo used to thrive until the 80's, now its almost a ghost town. Considering how conservative and old fashioned my parents are, I am definitely lucky that I haven't woken up with a shaved head!

Hi. Your picture appears a little dark, but I still get a general idea. Your hair looks thick and has some curl to it. Just let your hair do its thing. It will be better in a long run.
