Thought some of our regulars (especially Bill) might get a kick out of this...
Had lunch today in a little deli/diner over in Leonardtown (a small town in southern Maryland). This place goes by the name of the Do Dah Deli, and their logo is a peace sign, with the upright made from a table knife, and the two downward diagonals each made from a half-sandwich. The doors have signs saying "Hippies Always Welcome" and "Deadheads Always Welcome" the staff all wear tye-died t-shirts, and the back wall of the dining area has a large painting as a tribute to San Francisco and Jerry Garcia.
And they make some REALLY good sandwiches!!! [GRIN]

Damn! I wanna find this restaurant. There's also a place in Ocean City called Tubbys thats dedicated to the Dead. Their logo is TUBBYS with 4 deadbears under it. And the tables are the oldschool atari games. And they also have GREAT food. I like the sound of the sign they had, but I still want a "hippies use side door" sign for my room.

Here's a copy of the logo, and a link to their site, for anyone who's curious...
Hmmm... I'll have to check it out next time I'm in that part of the country.
Here in Atlanta, we have the Mellow Mushroom, which is a chain (and, TBH, a little lower on the Hippie Index than it was a few years ago):
