Hello all,
Though I would post some new pics since its now been two years since I started growing my hair long. I had it long twice before, but cut it off for less than valid reasons. This time I am determined to grow it as long as I want it and to keep it for a while.
I also want to thank everyone for their support and suggestions. I have finally settled into a grooming ritual I am pleased with. I shampoo my scalp everyday but try not to let any of the soap make it to the lower parts of my hair. This seems to give my hair a lot more body and thickness. Its of a fine texture, so any little bit helps.

Hi Robert, your hair looks great and it looks a little bit longer than mine did at two years. I've cut mine off twice before, both for less than valid reasons as well. I also seem to have pretty similar hair to yours, and I understand about a desire for any thickness and body you can get with fine hair. I don't shampoo as much as you do, but I try not to let it get to the ends either, and that really seems to be helping me this go around. Nothing like going through the awkward stage 3 times to help learn care techniques and to help you decide to keep it long. Anyways, it looks great and good luck reaching whatever goal you set.
