Hi Gang,
Just a few posts earlier, over the weekend, Karen mentioned "Wen Products", which sounded like they are very much based on "Conditioner Only" washes, so I got curious.
I went to our local very well stocked Salon Products place, and they had not heard of it. Then, I went on line, and found the Wen products site, and it looked good, but I also saw some very disappointed reviews on Google. Seems there may be a problem (Scam?) getting Wen to take you off their monthly debit arrangement.
--Word of caution to you all.--I personally fell prey to the "Free Credit Report" people, and my local bank the State of Oregon, and the Attorney General's office had to put the word out on those people. I got my money back, but it was not fun.
Anyway, it may be just an internet product PayPay issue, but the product looks good.
I am wondering if anyone else has tried it, liked it or whatever.
Thanks for your thoughts,
-Daniel
Hi Dan, I am glad I didn't order from Wen direct! I bought the product from one of the TV shopping networks but as a one-time purchase, I did not subscribe to a monthly plan where they send it automatically and charge my account or credit card. I also bought it from another internet site (I forgot the name of it) that sold products for long hair. I can't say I see a difference in my hair after using the Wen, but it makes my scalp feel good and my hair stays "cleaner" longer. I decided to try using the Wen, and only Wen, for a month and then see if it makes a difference. In the past I didn't use it every time I washed my hair, I used shampoo every few washings also. I'll let you know after I use it consistantly for a month.
Hi Karen,
thanks for your note. I have been using Purelogy products for a couple of years, since the lady at the salon showed them to me, and they are top notch. I have taken to using the conditioner (which is pretty strong stuff with mint in it)--a little goes a long way--as a "conditioner only" wash, instead of shampoo, and mostly concentrating on the scalp where it gets greasy and flat. I use the shampoo like once a week, and just the conditioner the other days. Maybe "water only" once in a while. I notice that the ingredient list in Wen looks pretty similar to the Purelogy conditioner, and I like the results so far.
Thanks,
-Dan

That is way too pricey for me. I don't spend $30.00 in a whole year for shampoo and conditioner, and look how long and luxuriant my hair is. I wash all that hair with only one tablespoon of shampoo. I use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner and use less than $30.00 total for both combined in one year.

I'm happy that the regime is working for you.
Cheers,
