Hey guys, I am still going without haircuts, and intend to go without haircuts for a long time (maybe a few eternities). I recently (Nov 19th in San Francisco at the DNA Lounge) saw Ensiferum live. It was a truly mindblowing experience, 4 great hours of headbanging, horn raising, and of course great folk metal. Unfortunately Hypocrisy couldn't make it to the gig =[, but the support bands were Blackguard and Lazarus AD and they kicked ass too. Still sore 2 days after the gig, and the tangles did take some good work to get out but all the same a definitely positive experience.
Soon I will be posting an update of my hair, I am waiting for my bangs to get long enough to all fit into a high ponytail. I am almost there so it should be soon, and I wish you all the best of luck with your hair growing ventures.
That's great to hear and last time Ensiferum can through they were a bit sloppy, perhaps too many ales the night before.

headbanging still makes my neck sore every now and then and I've been going to Metal shows since 1995 (ya I'm old)

I was there too at the DNA Lounge for Ensiferum and Blackguard! They were both awesome it was my first time seeing Ensiferum live. I had to get decked out in the viking war paint as well:) I also cant wait because I'll be going back down to San Francisco in January for Behemoth at Slims!
Awesome man, next gig I am going to go to is Arch Enemy/Exodus on February 8th in the Regency Center of San Francisco, it should be awesome.
