Hello everyone,
Upon recently turning 18, I applied at my local Wal-Mart and surprised myself when I passed their rather long sales person assessment. Then I got to thinking... Will they be unhappy my hair nearly touches my lower back? Do any of you have any experience or information on their views with hair, particularly on males? Have you seen longhair guys working there before?
I hope I get an interview and ultimately the job. I plan to fly to Northern France to visit a special someone in my life and see what my options are for studying there. Wish me luck!

I've seen guys working there with long hair. Not as long as yours is though.
But there is definitely a guy working near mine with hair to his shoulders, it isn't even pulled back.
I've longhairs working at almost any Walmart I've been in, New England and in parts of the southeast. Good luck!

I would give a big YES!! I have seen male employees with hair longer than shoulder length working at Walmart. I am reasonably sure you can have it waist length, if you desire.

Walmart does appear to be longhair friendly( they don't care if you have it) a few of my friends work or worked there over the years that have/had very long hair and had no problems.(other than having it tied back for safety)

Close to Paris, yes. Didn't know the name of the city, but I guess I isn't be as "urban" as Paris, and a rather green area. Enjoy :)

Even down here in hair hating Alabama, Walmart is longhair friendly. I've seen several male employees with longhair.

Also, studying in France? That's cool. I would have expected Norway, though. :P

I am SO happy to hear of this. And to think, now a long hair idol if there ever was one and on top of that STILL able to land some employment. Great news and I couldn't think of a nicer person for it to happen to.
