I've been looking into safety razors and straight edges for shaving. The disposables only do a good job for me twice but after that, they don't "cut it" anymore.
Classicshaving.com seems to have some top shelf stuff. What kind of safety razors (preferably) or straight edges would be a good place to start? Thanks in advance!
I use one of the Gillette triple blades that have a vibrating motor in the handle....use some sort of skin lotion before you put shave cream or gel on and you will have a very smooth shave and blades last forever....

I have been using my hair conditioner which works much better than my shaving gel. Have you ever tried a badger brush before? what's your take on those?
Using a shaving soap with a brush is a wonderful soothing experience....I think you get a better shave, than with foam or gel....and as I said previously, use a skin conditioning lotion first, than lather.......smooth shave and blades last much longer.
Yea, I've read that upgrading your brush alone can do wonders. Time to go shopping. Thanks your help White Tail.
why sahve?
just let your beard grow
Ron is DAMN RIGHT! :D
Beards, expecially goatees, rulez. Why shaving 'em? I consider my beard as important as my hair.
