Here's my December update! It's hard to tell how long have I been growing my hair...
I did my best at taking these pics but I'm a bit ill and it's a bit hard to take pics of yourself. Oh well!
As I mentioned in a thread some days ago, I had a trim one week ago wich really fixed my uneveness and made me satisfied with my hair after 6 months of unhappiness and feeling like getting a trim. I'm glad I found a good hairdressers wich listens to his customer's explanations and cuts as much as required.
Only the bangs were cut, not sure how much lenght I lost...not much though. Now I'm ready to let my hair grow to midback (at least!) No more dyes at all and no more trims for at least 8 months/1 year. (I'll get one in case I catch some bad ends)
Keep on growing, everyone!
And stay Metal as well.

Hair's looking good. Is this your natural color compared to the color your hair is in your avatar? I think this darker color looks much better.
Thanks Garth! Yes, my natural color is black, (just not as black as it is now, but it'll fade to a less dark shade soon) my avatar pic is old, I died my hair red in May and I re-dyed it Black on September to gain my color back. Thanks! I think black suits me best too.

Hi Andrea.Sorry that you haven't been feeling well but at least that didn't take away from your fantastic pictures.Your hair looks fabulous in all of them no matter what angle they are taken at.Please though forget the trims for at least 5 years minimum my friend:)We don't want to see a trim happy Andrea.Cheers
Mark
Thanks a lot, Mark! Yeah I know, it sucks to keep being ill, I blame the weather. One day is sunny, one day is rainy and windy...no worries, I'm not feeling like getting more trims at all! I just wanted that one badly to fix my poorly cut (on sides) hair. :)
-Andrea
hey my Italiano brother, looks good man! youll reach mid back in no time :)
Thanks, man! Let's hope so!
-Andrea
Fantastic update Andrea!! Congrats on finding someone who would only trim as you wished. It turned out nicely!
I'm sorry that you you still feeling ill. I hope you feel better soon.
And yes indeed, keep on growin'!
Bruce
Thanks, Bruce! Yeah, I'm glad I found a good hairdress, wich also doesn't ask much for small trims. (For the 0.5 cms trim he didn't want any money, while for this one he wanted just 5 euro) I'm still a bit ill cause of the weather but I'll be fine soon, thanks!
-Andrea
Nice mane, Andrea. I agree with Garth that it looks better with the darker color. Oh, and you should leave those ears exposed for view every now and then. I need to keep track of your earring count to ensure that I stay ahead:)
Thanks, LMD! I agree, the black hair suits me more than the red did. Haha no worries, for now you're still in charge with the ear jewellery! I just added a new one to the left ear so that makes 7 holes in the right ear and 4 on the left! (Actually it's 5 but I rarely put a jewel in that one)
-Andrea
Hi Andrea. Your hair looks neat when it is black although dying hair can be a bit risky. Straight hair gives the most length.
Matthew
Hi Matthew! I know, dying is bad, but I had to dye it black on september since on May I acted so foolish and dyed it red. I just wanted my natural color (black) back. Thanks for the comment and be sure to post an update soon!
-Andrea
Looking nice Andrea.
The "red dye recovery program" seems to be working well.
Glad that you have a good hairdresser, too.
- Oren
Thanks, Oren! Yeah, I like the hair being black much more than when it was red.
-Andrea
dude thats amazing, i dont know how long youve been growing your hair, but thats about as long as i want to go, but in my case its much more time than yours.
I really like the black color, straight black hair dudeee! real nice, congrats!!
Thanks! I'm not sure how long i've been growing it...maybe it's like 1 year and a half, I'm not sure.
-Andrea
Your hair looks perfect, Andrea. You found a great hairdresser who did what you asked for and your hair looks super. From here on out, it would be best to avoid colour or bleach. Just let it grow for awhile. Looking great.
Scott
Thanks, Absalom! Yes, I sure found a nice hairdresser and I'll be sure to stay away from colors and scissors now.
-Andrea
Suits you well, Andrea ! The ponytail seems amazingly thick !
Good growth ;)
Vivien
Thanks a lot, Vivien! I kinda like my tail. :)
-Andrea
Andrea... beautiful hair my friend! Love it.
Hey thanks a lot! :D I wouldn't ever refer to my hair as "beautiful" at all! But we are our worst critics.
-Andrea
I think your natural colour suits you best.
Looks very good Andrea.
Kevin

Mike
Hi Andrea,
What a great update, and thank you for sharing. Your trim went very wel, and the good thing is that you found someone you can really trust. Your hair is thick and healthy, and you should have no problems growing it a lot longer!
Keep it growing,
David
Hey Andrea,
I think your mane looks SUPERB!!! I'm all in favor of trims, especially whenever someone is very unhappy with how it looks during the growing out process --- I mean, why be totally miserable during any of the awkward stages or afterward either, if there's no need to be unhappy like that? There's a big difference between guys who just have no patience whatsoever to endure the "in-between", growing-it-out phases, and guys who feel a trim would lift up their spirits and help make the growth progress a more enjoyable experience.
Keep up the good work!
