Well with all the winter wonderland pictures being posted this week. I just wanted to wish everyone happy solstice...solstice :-)
I'm sure this will herald some great new updates.
Just think summer is now on the way and the nights will be getting shorter...that's in the Northern hemisphere.
Cheers,
John.B
John, Yes, happy solstice to you and everybody as well. Looking forward to the longer days that start after today!
peace, jonalbear
Blessed Be! :)
And to you also John, and to us all.
Hey John,I couldn't help but notice that on the calender. We are now on the uptrend towards longer daylight and closing in on spring/summer again.I can hardly wait!

Merry Christmas John!
Yeah. We're having such lovely weather in Alabamy. All wet, cold and not a snow flake in sight. Mud and more mud, can't wash the cars. It's no winter wonderland down here.
(Wonder how the weather is down under?)

Happy Winter Solstice, John! And yes, summer is soon on its way back now.... YIPEE!!
Nine years ago today was Y2K, the year I cut my waist-length hair off (the actual day of that devastating haircut being on the first day of summer, 2000) -- so, that would mean that my hair is now 9 and a half years old now, if my math is correct (LOL)....
December 21st, 2000, was still a very depressing time for me, although I was at least entering back into my 2nd experience of going through the "awkward stages" of my new hair growth by then.
Funny how we think about these things, and measure our progress on all kinds of issues in life just by taking notice of certain calendar dates...
June 21st of this upcoming year will be my big 10-year celebration of growing my mane back... WOW, whoever would have "thunk" I'd even survive on this crazy planet this long, let alone see my hair grow back to this length!!

Happy Yule-tide! :)
Happy solstice solstice! John
I wonder was the weather clear over Wiltshire?
Did they all go to Stone Henge for the Sunrise?
I would imagine it covered in snow.

Happy Solstice to you John and I DO welcome Summer back real soon. So far we are having a snowless Winter, so I would hardly call it a "wonderland." Global warming has hit the nearby "Family Town," while the rest of the state is in the Icebox! And, since their mayor left the lights have all gone out! LOL
