i was wondering if anyone had a good methid to eliminated that funny wave in your hair you get after wearing a tail for a while. Its like when you wear a hat and you hair goes flat, when you wear a tail and take it out ity sorta maintains a tail like shape. how do i smooth that back out?
I usually just wet it down and lightly comb it flat again.
What I usually do is just brush it out a little. Just lightly. But, then again, when I have my hair long enough to actually wear a tail, I usually wear it that way. I probably won't once I move out, and it grows back, but before Sunday, I usually left it in a tail. Currently can only do a bun at the crown of my head, since the bangs, sides, and top are long enough, but the back is too short. It's still better than last year in February, though.

After I take out the tie and finger comb it (if u use a brush it'll make your hair frizzy) I wet my hands and run 'em through my hair. I find my hair is straighter and more manageable after being in a tie all day, so putting a lil water in helps the hair oil to run off the scalp and makes locks. Don't brush it (with a hair brush) when it dries.
