Hi guys, I'm new here, and I'm going to admit, I don't really plan on being a regular here. But since I stumbled in here, I figured you guys might have some tips on how to increase the rate of my growth, if at all possible. Hopefully you don't mind.
The story is, I recently got out of the military, and now I'm a rock guitarist. Being in a rock band, I have to look the part, and the military didn't really help me out there.
But it's taking quite some time. I haven't had a haircut in like three months, but I only have about three inches of hair.
Any tips to speed it up?
Patience. There is no proven method of speeding hair growth and many offers of expensive quackery.
The milkitary would have little concern for you.

good things come in time.
keep in there.
happy growing
Hey take a B vitamin complex, biotin pill and take msm it says its for joints and bones but it helps your hair too! and also take fish oil and e youll be good to go...Those are the 4 important things in growing your hair out and also drink plenty of water that will help.
That's good advice but don't drink more thank 2 litres a day or else you can drown or so they tell me.
Bah that is just a lie made up by the corporations to make you buy food and drink instead of getting cheap tap water, im telling you man, the corporations are controlling you!!!111.
Yeah I take Biotin and fish oil as well....by the way are you talking about msm powder?
Yeah, one more reason why my a$$ ain't going to see no military service in any recent time!
Regarding the topic, just have lots of patience! Everything will come in due time, and if it doesn't, oh well, it wasn't all that worth waiting...
Just my own life philosophy. Has worked till now, I guess...
Don't mind? Dude, it's what we do here.
I think 3 inches in 3 mouths is incredible growth. If it's really growing that fast don't worry, just wait.
I was also in the military, US Army. I had longhair before I went in and grew it back when I got out. Mark stated what most say helps, the only thing I can add is decide to stick with it and then forget about it. Pass up any opportunity to get a haircut. In fact, erase that term from your memory. When you overhear it, you should get a blank look on your fact and say, "haircut, what's that?"
It may also be a good idea to take a "before" pic and then you can compare it when you think your hair isn't growing anymore.

Hi Chris,
Here's what has made my hair grow super-fast. Try this regimen, being really strict about everything that I suggest below, and I guarantee that you'll have loooooooooong hair in no time at all:
1) Become a professional landscaper / gardener, specializing in taking care of rose gardens so that you get to work around a lot of aged chicken and/or steer manure, which usually accidentally falls all over my head and into my hair (even though it was meant to only go onto the roses). This helps roses grow and bloom excellently -- and apparently also must have accidentally helped my hair to grow also.
2) At some point if you wish to change careers, that's OK (I did, although I still take care of a few gardens and still occasionally get sprinkled with manure because of it). I now primarily cook for a living, though; but I figure that since I've eaten a lot of my own good food over the past 3 years, this has also helped nourish my hair to grow real fast as well!
3) Wait 9 and a half years... (I say this because Y2K was my last short haircut).... My hair is now at belt-length, which I find to be totally AMAZING!!!!!!!!
This formula works like a charm -- TRY IT! (especially the waiting 9 years part - LOL)....
Welcome to MLHH!!!

I see a lot of hair growth tips out there that claim to make hair grow faster. The truth is, nothing can make hair grow faster, but those methods can make hair healthier, giving it the appearance of faster growth. Thicker, shinier hair reflects more light and increases the apparent volume. Healthier hair also breaks less, reducing the amount of lost length that can accumulate over time. That in a sense can equate to faster growth, but the hair itself has a steady metabolic rate that's determined by genetics and cannot be changed.
Hair growth is genetic, it is what it is and there's no potions, vitamins, treatments that will make a noticeable difference.
Just wait for it like everybody said
