I've been trying different shampoos lately in an attempt to find one that isn't damaging and makes long hair more manageable. The most recent shampoo I've tried is called Matrix Biolage Hydrating Shampoo. The results are... questionable. My hair is FAR less tangled, but it frizzed up horribly. I look like the freaking lion from The Wizard of Oz! :( These aren't the results I'm looking for. Does anyone have any product suggestions?
Hey Michael I had the same problem, but I found one that works great for frizzy hair and it's called Jason's biotin organic shampoo and they have the conditioner for it as well. It's not pricey at all and you can buy it at a local vitamin world! hope this helps :)
I'll look for it, but I've never heard of vitamin world. Must be a local or regional establishment.
In case you haven't given them a try yet, you might consider looking into the Aussie line of products. They seem to be a basic that work with alot of long haired men.
I agree that I've had good luck with Aussie products and they are reasonably priced.Should be able to find them in most stores such as Target or some supermarkets.

Hi Michael, First off, you got a kickass mane :)
Secondly, I too have frizzy hair. I've learned to tame it quite well IMO. This is what I do.
I use cool water for the rinse, wash like normal, rinse with cool water. After shower, I style my hair as I like it, then strictly air dry. My hair doesn't like to be blow dried period. Not even on the cool setting. Try that and see if it helps you.
Have you ever tried organic shampoo? I recently bough some called Avalon organics and it works really well on my hair. its gentle and does not strip your hair of oils as much as regular shampoo.
