1st post after about 9 months of no cuts, no trims. Last month I went to no shampoo and only occasional conditioner washes, which helped amazingly after about two weeks of uber-greasy hair. Thanks for all the MLHH support over the last 9 months, whether you knew you were giving it or not!

You've got a good start man. It looks great.

Hello.
Looks good so far. I just started growing my hair again and have also started a blog about my hair growing journey - http://robshairjourney.blogspot.com/
This will be my jornal of the experience along with some of my music and thoughts about the process. I am already enjoying the support and encouragement I am getting from these great guys on MLHH. Here's were I am at in process. Looking forward to the new year and long hair again!
Take care.

Sounds like a good routine and your hair is coming along fast. Great blog.
Welcome and Thanks for Sharing

Hello, and welcome to the board!
Your hair is coming along very nicely and suits you well. You have a nice wave in your hair that will look really cool when it gets longer. Just 9 more months and you could probably make your first ponytail.
What is your goal length, if you have one?
-Dan
As long as it'll go! Judging by my mom's hair, that could take a while.
Your hair looks awesome! Keep it up!

It looks really good ! No doubt that it will be amazing with some more length :)
Good luck

Hi Sheishinkai,
Welcome to MLHH!!!
You're off to a great start, in my opinion -- and have a TERRIFIC head of hair to work with!
I noticed that Dan asked you what your goal-length was, and that you replied "as long as Possible!" (or similar wording to that). Then you also mentioned that judging from how long your mom's hair was, that this may mean quite looooooooong...
So, now I have a question also: HOW LONG IS YOUR MOM'S HAIR???
I mean, for goodness' sake, don't leave us just "hanging" there like that! We're all a bunch of long hair fanatics here -- including happy to be supportive of any females who have long hair, too!!
Thanks in advance for your reply, -- and again, WELCOME!!!

PS - I got a kick out of the title of your link to your hair pics!
My mother has about buttock length hair, and it still seems to be growing a little each year. I'd post a pic of it but she'd really hate me for that...
No problem, I was just curious. And I'd rather have your mom NOT be mad at you, than to see a pic of someone who doesn't like the idea of having her picture splashed all over the Internet!
My goal is butt-length, too, BTW; but with my growth rate slowing down, and the ends very thin now, I think I'm more likely to be at or very near terminal-length.

Welcome Seishinkai. I would say you are a borderline longhair. You are at that difficult transitional stage which will soon pass. It will soon reach your shoulders and beyond. Keep it growing.
