Hey guys (and girls)
Been a while since I posted here, so I figured it was a time to share an update from my first long hair journey!
It's now been almost 10 months since I started from a buzz cut, I haven't touched the hair since. The bangs are reaching the tip of my nose now, except you can't see that in the picture because of the curls.
I never understood why long haired people, both men and women, were so attached to their hair. Even though my hair is still not exactly long, I am now beggining to get it. I have grown to love my hair and seem to get more attached to it every day that passes, it's an amazing thing!
So what do you guys think, will it look good once it's below my shoulders? That's currently the length I am aiming for, 2 or 3 inches below the shoulders. I figure it will take another 2 years maybe for it to reach that?

I think your hair looks fantastic, what a great mane you have to work with. I started growing last August '09, so I'm relatively new to the site. However, my hair has a lot a wave to it and is very thick. I'm hoping my hair looks like yours with all of the curls and waves at 10 months.

Hey Bruno, I think 2 years will probably be enough for your hair to reach a bit past your shoulders, depending on how it grows. It also might straighten out a bit as it gets longer. So far it looks great, keep it up!

You'll probably be shoulder length before 2 years. I've been growing my hair for 17 months, and mine just goes past my shoulders. (But I have straight hair, so your growth might be different).

Thank you all for the encouragement, it is sometimes hard to keep going due to family and friends, I haven't been getting much support lately for my hair. People say I look like a hobo, a thief(?!?!?), and a lot of other nonsense.
It's really important to me that I get some positive feedback from somewhere, and thankfully you guys are here for me! I appreciate it!
