Hi,
Ive finally have my hair at the length I want and I now want to get it cut to even it out and then just get it trimmed periodically to keep it wear I want it. I really don't want to go to the salon because of the cost and the trust issue, so Id like to get it done at home. I was planning on having a relative do it (a relative with little to no cutting experience) and was looking for some tips on cutting hair at home.
Thanks.
This is the self-trimming method I plan on using when I get to that point. It seems to work for a lot of people.

Hi, it's great to know you have your hair the way you want it. :) I don't suggest letting a relative cut your hair, I wouldn't trust it. Hairdressers are famous for messing up but that doesn't mean all do, you just need to find a trustable one...try asking someone, a friend or a relative, how's their hairdresser. Finding a trustable good hairdresser isn't easy but it's not impossible.
