I will consider printing 4x6 prints of any image on this site for a reasonable cost of $1 to cover postage and printing costs. The only images that are candidates are my own photographs and submissions for which I have explicit permission for reproduction. I will also print an 8 x 10 of any image for $5.
All this depends, of course, upon if there is any interest in this service. In many cases, I will have a higher resolution version of a picture on file than is posted on the web, so hard copies will look much better. My printer is an Epson Stylus Photo, which produces output that looks like photos from the photo lab (assuming the original image quality is high enough).
Please contact me by e-mail if this is a service you would be interested in or that you think I should offer.
I am considering buying a Ebson Stylisi Photo my self...can you recomment it?? It looks like a printer that can produce REAL photo quality.
I am considering buying a Epson Stylist Photo ....How do you rate it??
I rate it very highly. However, print quality varies with the paper used. The free samples given out in stores are useless. They don't come close to the print quality that can be achieved. Also, don't make the mistake I made, of getting Kodak photo quality inkjet paper, for example. The Epson paper is vastly superior. There are other printers you should also consider. Canon has a new 7 color printer, and there is another one reviewed in the current issue of Shutterbug (camera magazine). The author will send you a free sample on request.
Let's take any further discussion on printers offline.
