  Taken July 21 2009... Bit long on top for a slight head start, pardon the pun.. although I am almost smiling?!?! The pic in the background is of a Wreck called The Maheno on Fraser Island of Queensland, if anyone's interested..

          Yes! Amd would you belive Walter that when I was "younger" back in the 90's that I used to run out there in the water and explore those rusted remains. OMG.........the water would give one frost-bite! The whole Captains Chambers was removed from the ship shortly after it ran aground and is in a museum I believe in Clapsup someplace. Gotta get there some day. Always was intrigued with the Peter Iredale. Only about a 12-15 minute drive from Astoria I would think.
