hello all.
I see you've all got amazing manes of hair. VERY jealous!
I've been lurking on here for YEARS, and finally started growing my hair.
I've had longish hair for a couple of years - but I've finally started getting some length to it.
Had a few issues with thinning and such. It use to be very thick but not so much anymore. I've tried various different washing routines and found that if i use only conditioner in between washes it doesn't go greasy or look so dry!
any body got any suggestions?
I've included a fairly recent picture. Could do with a trim though.
Tell me what you think? It's naturally quite curly. This photos from an odd occasion where i straightened it.
Cheers
Grant
oops crap. sorry about the HUGE photo. i should of resized haha

Hey Grant!
I don't know much about hair thinning so I can't help you there. The only thing I can think of is ripping a comb/brush through your hair instead of detangling it gently. That's going to break a lot of hairs and you'll shed more than normal.
Other than that I only have one suggestion: to not trim your hair just yet. It looks great to me, and even though it's straightened, I imagine the ends look just as thick when it's curly? Maybe you could post a pic of how it usually looks. :)
In summary, your hair looks great and I don't think you need a trim. Happy growing!

Hair looks great keep it growin.
Hello Grant, and welcome to the board, or should I say, welcome from anonymity.
Your hair looks great!
I would love to see a photo of it in all its natural curlyness(as I have curly hair too). Nice pose in this photo, very rocker like.
thanks everyone.
yeah i shall post a picture of its natural curls very soon :)
Hi Grant, awesome pic of yourself and don't worry about the size of it because smaller, I might have missed your tiny nose piercing!lol.I can't really say your hair looks like its thinning, at least from this angle.I'd be careful of the straightening being that can cause a lot of damage. In fact our own David N. used to be guilty of doing that before he found the mlhh and learned how to better care for his hair.Even though it looks cool straight I'm sure its natural state suits you well in the end.Other than that you look fantastic smiley:)Cheers my friend
Mark
well i don't generally straighten it anyway. infact i haven't for months.
Heres a current picture of my hair i took today after i got out of the shower.
the nose piercing isn't that small is it? haha
by the way they are not my hair products in view lol
Grant
Great photo. Keep it growing.
Great photo Grant! Your hair looks fairly thick to me, from the photo is's difficult to see any thinning. I also like the color... keep it growing.

Hi Grant,
Great picture and the hair is coming along nicely. Do keep it growing.
Cheers,

Welcome, Granty!
Nothing to feel jealous for, for goodness sake! Your hair is rather good and sensual, too! Length is also no problem, will come all by itself without any assistance.
Have a nice time here!
Welcome! Your hair looks incredible already, keep it growing :-)
