Thanks for all your responses guys to my earlier post re my new hair growing journey, finally got a chance to get back on here just now. Yes next bithday I may just try the reverse ageing Ken it sounds great!

Hairball yes It's good some of us are coming back again to longhairdom, hopefully the spate of "I need a haircut'" incidents are decreasing, although necessary for me at the time.
jm1987 yes I may create a new photobucket account, good idea then people can look when they want rather then being overwhelmed by us!!, this is my 3rd go at this now so I have heaps of photos, I was way obsessed last time I have literally stacks of DVD's of pics and videos too. If anyone wants to have a poke around I have included a link to my youtube page that has some of the old stuff on it from the last 2 times.
Nice to see I started a wave of old ship nostalgia too!

Oh and for you Vivien, a picture from 2 years ago too showcasing my fantastic brick wall as it was then ;) I was "cheating" a bit my head is tilted back but not that much!

Yeah I'd better hurry up and make good on my promise to not flood the board.. Have to focus on the current mission not former campaigns. Working for a big corporation may seem to be a hard place to grow your hair out but I'm so jealous of that guy I work with who's thick ponytail is down to his butt, it's a few years off yet, small steps to get there is the way to go.

I work for petco myself lol 900+ stores in our corporation and the only rules on hair is that it must be neatly groomed and not in strange colors. So all in all i got the go ahead to grow mine out with no hassle from work. My DM said he didnt care if my hair was to my butt as long as it was neat and i did my job well.
How do you magically change from brunette to blonde just by having different lightings? O.o

The answer is partly just how my hair is, and partly because I have been known to colour it with a semi permanent brunette colour from time to time ..although I had what I consider to be the rather pleasant "problem" that my hair was so thick and long that the dye hardly made much of a difference and faded very quickly after a few washes.
In certain sunlight/flashlight my hair looks very blond/light, almost to the point where you would think it might have been bleached:
At other times even without the dye it can look almost brown:
Then in certain light will look almost golden:
of course I have been playing aroung with photoshop on some of the other photos in my photobucket album, so that makes a difference too (but not these ones you hopefully can see here)
Don't ask me exactly why, maybe something to do with the refraction of light from certain angles, any experts here want to give their opinion on that one?
I guess it's just one more aspect of growing my hair out for a third time that I have to look forward to!

Awesome hair man. I think you have the most impressive ponytail i have ever seen. hope mine ends up like that. Is that how you wore it most of the time back then or did you ever braid it on bun it or anything? again awesome tail dude. tony
