Got a back hair problem? Easy, grow really long hair! LOL
My hair care routine is Head&Shoulders shampoo/conditioner in 1, every other day, and just wash with water in between.
I finger comb and let it air-dry. That's what I've done for god knows how long now.
I find that brushing it actually kills the life out of the hair and makes it more static-y :/
I do use a comb to comb the front part of my hair straight back when I put it in a tail or whatnot.
Surprisingly I do not see any split ends or wispy ends, and it has been a long time since I've had a trim.
Perhaps it is true that wearing your hair in a bun protects it? Hmmm...
I've never heard of any longhairs using those 2-in-1 products. I though they were marketed to people with shorter hair who needed a convenient all in one product. But I thought that the quality of them was inferior and cheap to more expensive hair care products. Whatever works I guess. ATM, I'm using this very cheap "family size" bulk conditioner - and it makes an excellent leave-in product as it is cone-free.
It sounds like you have a good hair care regime down pat and know the best method to take care of your hair. Although that is kind of obvious because you have the ability to grow your hair to such an incredible length.
All the best.
Thanks.
Yeah, I heard that getting 2 in 1 products is not really recommended, but I see no damage from it, so far. LOL
To be honest, I think all shampoos and conditioners have the same exact ingredients. Some are just marketed better and more well known.
Granted, I wouldn't go for non-name brand stuff though.
I have dandruff which can only be minimized and not totally gone, so I tend to gravitate towards H&S and Selsun Blue.
Always glad to see an update from you.....looking great as usual and that is some serious length.
I like your simplified regime and agree about brushing.
Thanks for Sharing
Walter
Awesome update!
I also do not brush my hair, that works better for my hair.
Hi ATP,
Thank you for sharing your inspirational update with us, and it is good to know that such a simple hair care routine works so well for you. Keep that mane growing!
Keep it growing,
David
hey Alexander, that hair is kickass man! so long and well taken care of my friend :) Can't wait to get to that length myself! Id say your at waist length which is about my goal area
Lookin' good, ATP!!!!
You're one of the few people I've read about who don't mention using any conditioner. Everybody's hair is different, -- including re. some people never getting split ends. You're lucky!!!
I agree w/ you about wearing one's hair in a bun being a helpful way to protect from a lot of wear & tear, as it's definitely helped me out, too!
Take care, and thanks for the great update!
