Hello .
My hair has come on well and im at shoulder length.
Im having second thoughts on long hair.
I mean, it gets all in my face, gets hot, takes ages to wash, etc loads of work. And it probably doesnt even look good. I am thinking of a cut. Dont shout.. please
I think it would be so much less hassle for me to have short hair.
OK you see yourselves from the front in a mirror. How many of you get a mirror and look in another, to see the back and sides? I feel mine looks awful! I see this guy at school and his hair looks so bad I dread incase mine looks that bad- His is longer than mine but a couple of inches.
I would like some help on this matter for suggestions on how I can improve my hairs appearance and any sugestions of a long hair style- instead of just it been 'long'.
Im sorry. I just dont think my hair cuts it, unless I can try other styles-long. As I say, its currently shoulder length, parted, and i keep it behind my ears to keep the dreaded hair out of my face! Then people mistake me for female! argh really I sont think its worth all this!! Im sorry people...
Saying this, I am going to grow until it ties well in tail, if that doesnt suit, il undercut, then if that fails il cut.

I won't preach or say anything like "don't do it".
My only advice is to think about it for a few weeks. If you still want to get it cut, then go for it.
BUT...don't feel sorry for yourself when you see a guy with long hair a year from now and think "I could have had hair like that".
Just do what you think is best for you, dude. It's YOUR HAIR!
Have you tried putting your hair in a ponytail? It should be cooler then and not get in your face. Do you have a picture of your hair? It probably looks a lot better than you think, but even if it doesn't, a ponytail helps with that too.
Well, in case you DO decide to get it cut, don't get it super short. When I went to get my hair cut last year, I was deciding between two pictures of hair in a magazine. There was one guy with really short, spikey hair and another of medium length, just above eye-level. I chose the really short, spikey hair. Now, I think I'm a moron, and I want to grow it out again. I've been trying for months now, and it still isn't as long as the medium-haired guy I saw in the magazine!
In other words, leave some length. It'll save MONTHS.
As for different styles, I've also thought about different styles too once my hair grows out. Maybe you can slick the hair in front back so it doesn't get in your face. I saw Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys do that in an old video where he had fairly long hair, the front reaching down to about his mouth (The "I'll Never Break Your Heart" video.)
Or maybe you can try the long short-haired look...Tom Cruise, maybe.
Well, just know that I felt exactly the way you felt when I decided to cut my hair, and personally, I'm sorry I made that decision. So if you're not COMPLETELY sure, don't cut it.
Shoulder length is still at the awkward stage. You need to let it grow further.

Wait to make a decision.
I wonder sometimes to cut my hair, because it seems forever to be in an awkward stage. I guess my hair is really slow growing.
Tie it back in a ponytail or tie it at the base of your neck. That's what looks better on me.
Well, you could do what I'm doing. Right now I can tie the back and some of the sides, but the bangs and front sides still flop around but will go behind the ears. Why not tie what you can and then tuck everything else behind your ears? I suggest you par it in the middle and try it...it can't hurt, and it's less annoying, even if I don't do that out in public.
