No, it's not Tourette's Guy doing Unsolved Mysteries while sloshed. I figured I'd give about a 1 monther. I have a couple of pics, so hold tight. I plan on getting the ends nipped 1 month from today, but just the extreme tips. I'd say I've just about sufficiently hit shoulder length.
Please ignore the mess, and Boogeyman 2 on the TV.
Dude, I just got done watching that movie too!! Haven't seen it in years and forgot how twisted it was, but the first ones better....
am I forgetting something? oh yeah... Nice hair so far, I wouldn't go for the trim for a while, but... whatever
Looks good Chris! You look like your making good progress. I would definitely hold off the trim though, it will only take your hair longer to grow. What is your goal length?
Luke.
Oh, I'd say about the middle of the shoulder blades or so. I'm not in any rush, and I last trimmed it towards the tail end of summer. I still have a bit of unevenness, if you notice it's a little thin towards the top rear section. I haven't a clue what that was about, maybe a bit of hair loss then decided not to... God only knows.
LOL I kinda noticed people lay off me if I wash it more frequently, but I'm resisting the temptation to wash it every day because I don't want to ruin my good progress. Every other day or so seems to help, depends on how much I do, and how warm it gets sleeping. I'm also taking vitamins, and just recently added a biotin supplement.
I have some pics of myself with short hair somewhere, I just gotta find the card they're on. For now, here's a picture of my (good looking) face. I gotta get my rear end on the bike again, but it's just too cold lately, and I don't have an indoor trainer yet.
Chris, you are starting to get some nice length there and I agree with Jarvis that I'd wait a looooong time before trimmin' anything but that's up to you.If you aim is just longish hair then I suppose you are about there but I think going midback would look great on you:)Just my opinion though.Cheers
Mark
I tell yah what, I certainly like it. My head does, while skiing I've noticed the top of my head doesn't get so cold anymore. I always felt like I needed to put on one of those muskrat hats from Russia in the wintertime (we can have pretty cold winters here in NY). Also, clipping my hair short didn't seem to compliment my facial features at all. Now to see if my neck appreciates it in the summertime. No matter what I do, I could just as well buy SPF 50 and my neck ALWAYS burns. Weird, since my neck is always exposed during the summer months... my farmer tan will come back before my arms have a chance to burn, yet my neck isn't so lucky (plus that too it makes for pretty uncomfortable sleeping).
There's a late high school/college picture of my father with shoulder length hair, about the same color as mine yet wavy. I have to straighten mine most mornings because the ends like to curl up. I'm sure that will stop after I'm longer than the shoulders.
Thank you all for the good comments. I believe God gave us hair for a reason, and I'm going to take advantage of it while I can :) (for good purposes though....)
