One Last Picture (with more lighting).
Absolutely beautiful curls and great length, a feat to be proud of. Just curious, you didn't mention shampoo in your first post, I assume that is because you don't use any, from what I have read shampooing doesn't work well for curlies. Also in the future instead of making 3 different threads please post your additional pictures in a reply to your first thread.
Thank you for the compliments. I actually do shampoo, but only if my hair begins to feel weighed down. My hair needs product (and lots of it), but product does build up. Regular shampoo washings help with this issue. I didn't know how to post more than one picture per thread, so I posted my pictures the best I could. I apologize.
Keep in mind, guys, that newcomers get moderated for a bit, and they can't post additional messages underneath posts that don't exist yet. We refuse to accept apologies for not doing the impossible. [grin]
Welcome, man. And do make a 180 and let us see how that great mane looks with your face when you get around to it!
Bill
I couldn't have said it better myself, Bill! I realize that some guys are a bit shy; while others are more concerned about privacy issues by showing their face and/or later seeing their pics splashed all over the Internet.
Although I know you or I don't give one hoot over worrying about this, my guess is that usually the younger guys here tend to be a bit more worried about his sort of thing than us older longhairs. In any case here is a suggestion for anyone new who is hesitant to show their full face on this site here...
Try what I've often done, -- and is EXTREMELY EASY to do, as long as your hair is long enough: just let your hair blow or flow or go across part of your face enough to at least obscure it to the point of it not being completely recognizable,
That way people who have been long-time regulars here will be more likely to reply to your first post (like myself, for example, since I always feel a bit put-off by people who decide to introduce themselves by only showing me the back of their head)...
Just a suggestion for the shy guys to consider... It's a "compromise", at least!

(PS - this wind-blown pic was taken in the spring of '04, at a Nature Preserve in the Santa Cruz Mts. called, "Windy Hill!")
As mentioned in my previous comments in my reply to Bill, for those who are either worried about showing a pic of their face here, or happen to just be shy for whatever reason, there's no need to limit yourself to back-of-the-head shots only... Long hair is the PERFECT companion and an excellent aide to help us out in mot making us completely recognizable on our local city streets (for those worried about pictures of our faces being splashed all over the Internet...
While I myself don't care whether someone recognizes me walking down the street after having seen one of my pics from here, I realize that other people may not necessarily have the same casual, care-free attitudes and feelings about this issue. But this is no reason to bore our regulars to tears by only showing the back of someone's head (which tneds to often look exactly like a WIG!!).....
So, here's another example of a pic of myself, -- a photo where there's no way in hell anyone could figure out what I really look like (yet reveals a bit more about me, like: I have a beard, a nose, and a profile of my sarcastic mouth - LOL)!!
Enjoy... print it out, if you wish, and even use it for a dart board -- it won't hurt me one bit!

Honestly ken how is anyone going to stay anonymous after posting a picture of their long locks, especially with such nice curls, most longhaired guys I see on the streets or whatever are straight/wavies so any curl is a very distinguishing characteristic. I could probably spot this guys hair across a football field.
Your hair looks fabulous, mr. station, as that is one thick head of hair! You are sooooo fortunate to be able to grow a mane like that.I agree with Bill, it would be nice to see your smiling face with all that hair:)Thanks for sharing your pics my friend.Cheers
Mark
unionstation... you have gorgeous curly hair. love the color also. i agree, it would be so nice to see the face attached to the beautiful hair. you've made some great progress in about 3 years time!
peace, kenny
Hi Unionstation,
Welcome to the hyperboard, and thank you for sharing your inspirational photos with us. You have a great head of curls, and have made excellent progress.
Keep it growing,
David
Looking at your hair, you have tons of waves, and what that means, you may have lots of curls. You should take an up-close picture of your hair, so I can see more details. By the way, my last true haircut was in December 2006, so it is a similar length of time for me.
